She looked up as Shadow summoned two monsters to the field.

Ai drew a new card from her deck and her face lit up in excitement.

"Perfect," she cried "I summon Fire Union!"

A small red haired sprite appeared next to Ai's Akwa.

"Now comes to really fun part, I tune Fire Union to Akwa, in order to summon Spell Queen - Mayrie!"

"And since there are two spell cards in my graveyard, she gains 400 attack points" Ai continued.

 

(Spell Queen - Mayrie. LV8. LIGHT. ATK: 3200. DEF: 2400)

 

"Mayrie attack his spark," Ai ordered "And when Spell Queen Mayrie declares an attack, I can send the top card of my deck to the graveyard and if it's a spell your monster is switched into defense mode."

She took the top card from her deck and showed it to Shadow.

"Earth Spirit is a spell card," she said "Meaning you Spark is switched into defense mode, and when Mayrie attacks a monster in defense mode, the difference is taken as damage to your life points."

 

Shadow's monster crouched down.

 

"And that raises Mayrie's attack points by another 200," Ai said.

Mayrie's attack hit and destroyed Shadow's monster.

"I end my turn there," Ai said.

She heaved a sigh and picked Spell Queen - Mayrie up of her duel disk and shuffled her cards back together, placing them in the case on her belt and turn around to walk away, looking somehow more depressed than when she started.

Headmaster - okay everybody in seven day there will be a tournment against the acamedys.

"Because this will be a torunament to see who will be the top duelist, and then the other three academies will pick whoever is their top student, and then all 4 will compete in a tag match. Whichever tag team loses from there are disqualified, and then the tag team that won will have to go head to head. At least that's what I think it is," she said. "Ah, ok," said Cody.

ooc: now that not it you got the fist part right but the second it want be a tag team match it will be just like battle city finals the top duelist of the academy duel each other 1 on1 on 1 on 1 then after 3 minutes the lowest life points duel fight then the two highest life points duel.

* Shadow was walking to his dorm* Shadow - tomorrow is the day I get to show how great my deck is. The Duelist from duel academy , South academy ,and Bell academy come to the island. Duel academy Jaden Yuki , west academy Yoi Koja , and Bell academy Serge Rage are the best. Huh who is the best of this academy.

Shadow - dont you know how the tournament starts. First everyone go and pull a number out of the boxes. The number you pull will determent who you will duel. If you pull number 1 and the other pull number 2 they duel first and everyone watch that is how it goes. So rest up for tomorrow.

Stryker couldn't sleep at night,* I wonder who will face me in my first duel in this academy,* Stryker thinkin * this is going to be exiting, I cant wait to challenge Shadow, Cody, Nick and Ai in a duel, maybe they don't know me, but I'll give it my best, and let the fun begins*

Unlike the rest, Ai wasn't feeling too happy about a tournament, it was just another way for people to notice how bad she was as dueling. She had barely slept a wink all week and looked half dead.

"Ai, what's up?"

Ai looked round and saw her room mate, Umi staring at her. Umi had neat short dark blue hair and dark eyes as well as fair skin, coincidentally enough she used a deck of water cards.

"Nothing," Ai replaced, gazing out of the window "I just don't feel like taking part in a tournament."

Bio: Charlie is an intellgent youth and skilled at dueling. He lives for the moments when his opponents fall into one of his traps. He haerd that the Sacred Beasts were held atthis school after Duel Academie failed to protect them, and decided he had to see at least one of them. He was expected to do well on his entrance exam but felt he needed to slip beneath the radar for the time being. He ended up in the Uria dorm, which suited him fine.

"This tournament will be the perfect distraction." Charlie thought, "I'll get out early, who's cares about this tournament victory anyway?, so i have time to plan the ultimate heist.
