"Alright then! I summon my Edge Warrior Tyson in Attack Mode!" saiid Cody. A man with a straw hat and a white blanket covering his face appeared. "And I'll activate his effect! You see once per turn I get to remove from play more Edge Warriors from my hand or deck, and Tson gains 300 for each removed. So fo now I'll remove 2, and then end my turn. Oh yea, and Tyson's Attack Points won't change until you finish your turn," he said. "And I'll end."

"I tribute Tyson, in order to summon Edge Warrior Rally! And remember those two edge warriors that I removed from play last round? Well they're coming back by their effect!" said Cody. "i now summon from the depths of The Edge, Edge Warrior Sarrah , and Edge Warrior Aeon!" said Cody. "And now Aeon is a Tuner, so I'll Tune him with Sarrah to Summon my awesome beast Edge Warrior Blaston!" he said. A giant dragon made of Bone appeared, but the blue mist that it made covered the body so you could only see the head and wings. "Next I activate the field Spell Over the Edge!" said Cody. The field around them changed now only showing them in mid- air. "By the effect of this field spell, you can't activate effects that include the Graveyard. "I also activate the effect of my Blaston. I can destroy 1 monster on the field! And I choose that face down. Now with no defenses I attack with Rally and Blaston! "I win!" said Cody.

"Well, I am not out yet, because my face-down monster was called, Landstar Horseshoe. And if it is destroyed by a card effect, I can discard a number of cards from my hand in order to destroy the same amount of monsters on your side of the field. So, you do not win, as I discard Destiny Hero - Disk Commander and Grappler of Landstar from my hand to destroy Blaston and Rally."

Nick smiles menacingly.

"You done with your worthless turn?"

"Not quite yet, becuase by the other Effect of Over the Edge, If and Edge Warrior on my field was destroyed by a card effect, instead, they are removed from play, and I get to summon a monster. So from the Edge, I summon my Edge Warrior Blaston Incarnate," said Cody. "And by his effect, you cannot activate the efefcts of trap spells or monster effects, but I must send one Edge Warrior in my hand to the Graveyard to keep him on the field." "Now I end," said Cody.

Ai gave a yawn. She was still in bed and had no idea of what was going on elsewhere. She'd even taken her deck into bed with her. Eventually she opened her eyes and realized that the usual noise she could hear throughout the Uria dorm wasn't there. She slipped out of bead, blinking to try and get the room into focus, and began searching around for her clothes.

A few minutes later she was changed, she clipped the box with her deck in to the back of her belt and slipped on her duel disk before leaving the dorm.

"I wonder where everybody went?" She questioned out loud.

She entered the main building and on instinct went straight to the duel arena. Sure enough as soon as she entered she saw two people dueling.

"Aw man," she moaned "I got left out again."

She heaved a sigh and dropped down into one of the spectator seats to watch.

"Well too bad for you, since those 2 monsters were removed from play, they come back this turn. Also since my Blaston is back, His effect destroys your monster!" said Cody. "Now I activate Edge Blast. This card allows me to destroy a spell or trap on your field. Now attack!" said Cody. "I won now," he said.

Blaston: 2900

Rally: +1400

Ai heaved a sigh as she wandered down the corridor. She wasn't standing out at all in this place which was precisely the opposite goal she had come for, and the only duel she'd won was her entrance exam and then it had been a close call. She'd already had three duels here and she'd lost all of them and was beginning to spiral into a depression.

"I just don't get it," she muttered, staring down at her deck "There's nothing wrong with my deck. Why do I keep losing? Is there something wrong with me?"

She sighed again and stowed the deck away, looking even more miserable than when she'd taken it out.
