"I activate Ancient Rules," Kabeshin said "This card allows me to summon one normal monster from my hand, and I choose Tri-Horned Dragon!"

A massive blue dragon covered in horns emerged on Kabeshin's field.

"2850 attack points already?" Ai gasped "No fair."

"And since that was a special summon I'll also play my Gene-Warped Warwolf too."

The white wolf Kabeshin had played before emerged onto his field.

"I'll lay one card face down and end," Kabeshin said.

 

Ai fumbled slightly and drew a card from her deck.

"I hope this works," she muttered.

"I summon Spell Girl - Elda in attack mode!" She said "Thanks to Elda's effect, I can discard Water Spirit from my hand to reduce your Dragon's attack points by 500."

Tri Horned Dragon's attack decreased to 2350 and Elda's increased to 1500.

"But, she still doesn't have the attack points to stand up to either of my monsters," Kabeshin said.

"True but my Water Spirit spell card allows me to summon Water union!" Ai said.

A torrent of water rose up on Ai's field and a small blue haired fairy thing appeared there.

"Now, since Water Union is a Tuner monster, I can tune her to Elda to summon Spell Girl - Akwa!"

The monsters tuned together and Akwa rose up on the field.

"Akwa gains 100 attack points because of Water Spirit," Ai said.

Ai's monster's attack rose to 2200.

"She still can't beat my monster," Kabeshin said.

"Wanna bet?" Ai asked "I play Enchanted Flute and equip it to Akwa."

An ornately decorated flute appeared in front of Akwa and she grabbed it.

"Magic Flute increases a Spell Girl monster's attack points by 300," Ai explained "Go Akwa, attack his Tri Horned Dragon!"

Ai's monster played the flute and a tidal wave surged from beneath her, completely enveloping Kabeshin's monster and destroying it, his life points dropped to 3850.

Takashi and Kakume turned a corner as it came to Takashi's turn.

"This isn't good... With Jinzo on the field, my traps are useless! And I don't have enough Speed Counters to use my Speed Spells... I can only play defence... I summon Dandelion in defense mode... Turn end..."

 

Kakume chuckles. "Hah! is that all you've got? Pathetic! It's my turn! ([] 4)

"I summon Jinzo Returner!" A mini-Jinzo appears beside Kakume (atk 600) "Heh, Jinzo, attack Dandelion!" Jinzo shoots another blast of his energy, destroying Dandelion.

 

"Grrrr! I activate the effect of Dandelion! When he's sent to the grave, he leaves behind two puffball tokens!" when the smoke cleared two little seeds with faces appear on the field (def: 0) (Def 0). "Hah whatever! Go, Jinzo - Returner, direct attack!" The mini-Jinzo fires a blast of energy that hit Takashi. He grits in pain, Kakume just laughs. "How do you like that? I'll place two cards facedown and end my turn!"

"...my turn, ([] 4) Yes!"

"I activate the Speed Spell, Speed Fusion!" Takashi shouted.

 

"What!?" Kakume Gasps.

 

"This is a Polymerization for Speed World! With this I fuse Gemini Lancer and Blazewing Butterfly; two Gemini Monsters, to summon Superalloy Beast Raptinus!" the two Gemini Monster appear and merge in a warp. Out of this warp, emerges an enormous Chimera-looking dragon. (atk: 2200)

 

"Not bad, but your f***ed up dragon's not strong enough to take down Jinzo!"

 

"Maybe so," Takashi said, "But it's not him I'm attacking with! I release one of my Puffball Tokens to advance summon Chthonian Emperor Dragon!" the little token morphs into a demetional hole. Out of it emerges Chthonian. (atk: 2400) "And with Raptinus on the field, every Gemini monster on the field has its effect automatically activated! Takashi turns his D-Wheel around and heads straight for Kakume. "Go, Chthonian, attack Jinzo!"

 

"You fool, they're equal in strength!" Shouted Kakume but that didn't stop Takashi's monster. The dragon and Jinzo collide both vanish in an explotion. Takashi just passes Kakume after this.

 

"Now that Jinzo's gone, I can activate, Birthright and resurrect my Chthonian Emperor Dragon!" the dragon reappears onto the field. Takashi turns around again and tails Kakume. "Go, Chthonian, attack Jinzo returner!"

 

Kakume looks back and grins as he menuvers his D-wheel into a skid, "Not so fast, I activate Draining Shield! This stops your attack and increases my life points by the same amount as your monster's attack points!" Once the dragon has fired a blast of fire at Jinzo - Returner, a barrier form; taking the front of the attack and protecting, Kakume and his monter. Kakume then pull out of the slide and heads for Takashi.

 

"But there's still his second attack!" Takashi shouts as Chthonian fires a another blast.

 

"I activate Haollowed Life Barrier!" Kakume shouts. "Thank's to this card, by discarding one card from my hand, all damage done to me this turn is reduse to 0!" Chthonian's fire blast destroys Jinzo - Returner, but Kakume takes no damage as a barrier protects him. "Hahaha! Now I activate the effect of my Jinzo - Retuner! When he's sent to the graveyard, I can special summon Jinzo from my grave!" To Takashi shock, Jinzo Reappears. Kakume just passes Takashi. "There's just no way you can take down Jinzo, kid!

 

"...I'll end my turn." Takashi said. Kakume then turns around and is once again is back on Takashi's tail.

Kakume suddenly bursts into laughter. "This is it, kid the card I just drew will finish you off and your starsign monster will be mine!"

 

 

 

OOC: *Wipes the sweat off his forehead* phew! this took awhile... I see cody's done with his duel. Just wait untill me and the other two are finished.

Hurry, Scorpio warned, her voice a bit shaky. My brethren are approaching.

 

"I can't go that quickly; this is a terrible draw..." Alyssa whispered back. "I'll just have to reveal you."

 

...you're mental, Scorpio hissed.

 

"Not quite," she replied, before starting her turn.

 

She'd been ambushed by a Black Rider in the middle of the night, and, lacking a D-Wheel, initiated a normal Duel, with the Rider's D-Wheel and her Starsign card on the line. It was clear now, on her third turn, and her having gone first, that she was soon to obtain a proper mode of transportation.

 

"In order to play my next move," she began, "I have to discard a monster from my hand —" she discarded her Caius the Shadow Monarch — "and pay 700 Life Points —" the counter decreased to 3300 — "but that's a small price to pay for my next monster. I summon Death Arakn - Scorpio!" It was little more than dark vapor shaped into the form of a scorpion, but the statsheet, in the form of a holographic red-and-black plaque, proved it was a force to be reckoned with.

"Now, she has a few effects," Alyssa warned, "but you'll see them in time. For now, just witness her attack power! Attack Don Zaloog!"

 

I'll pull Dimension Wall when she attacks Spirit Reaper, the shadow duelist thought as Don Zaloog was obliterated by an energy blast from the stinger of the smoky scorpion.

 

He drew, and grinned. "I Set 1 card face-down," he began, "and activate the Spell Card —"

 

"Forget it," Alyssa warned. "Death Arakn negates all your Normal Spell Cards."

 

"...Right," he said, somewhat defeated. "Well, then, I activate Premature Burial, which is an Equip Spell Card! Sure, I have to pay 800 Life Points, but what price is that for Don Zaloog back?"

 

"Tough you won't be getting him back after all," Alyssa cut in. "I discard D.D. Crow from my hand to remove Don Zaloog from play... but you still have to pay the cost."

 

"Fine, I end my turn," the Rider snarled. At least I'll be able to get her with Dimension Wall, he thought ferally.

 

One more direct attack and you can finish him off, Scorpio observed. Obliterate him quickly.

 

Still, he left his Spirit Reaper in Attack Position, she thought, relating this to her starsign in a whisper.

 

Then get rid of the Trap Card, let him attack, and attack yourself, she advised. Alyssa drew.

 

"I activate Snatch Steal!" she stated immediately. "Now I can take control of your Spirit Reaper. But he won't be staying for long. I Tribute him... to Summon my Prime Material Dragon!" A great gold dragon with a pointed face burst out of the Spirit Reaper, ripping it to pieces.

"Now, both monsters," Alyssa commanded, "attack him directly!"

 

I doubt I need to describe the tremendous blasts fired by the scorpion and the dragon, but I ought to tell you he lost the Duel. Alyssa hopped on the D-Wheel and shot out of the city, hoping to escape before the other Starsign Duelists caught up to her.

Cody took off the bandage over his right eye. "Max, look into my eyes, what do you see?" asked Cody. "Nothing, wait the theres a-- Ahhhh!!!" said Max, now in a comma. "Well, he's unconcious, Saggitarius. Lets go," said Cody. "Yeehaw! I haven't seen you use thateye since you-" "We don't speak of that night,"

Takashi and Kakume turned off the highway and headed for the Tops district as Kakume began his turn

Kakume suddenly bursts into laughter. "This is it, kid the card I just drew will finish you off and your starsign monster will be mine! I release Jinzo to special summon Jinzo Lord!" Jinzo transforms and now wears a silver plating with loose straps on its back. (atk 2800)

 

"Oh man, 2800 attack points!" Takashi gasps.

 

"There's more! Not only does Jinzo Lord negate your traps, but I can distroy all face up trap cards and you take 300 points of damage for each one!" Jinzo lord fires two red beams from his eyes and destroys Takashi's Birthright. He grits as he life points decrease. "Hahah! Go Jinzo Lord, attack Raptinus!" Jinzo Lord sends the straps flinging toward Raptinus and shocks Raptinus. Takashi flinches as his monster is destroyed. "Give it up, kid, you're finished! I'll end my turn to watch you squirm."

"...This is it... If I don't draw the card I need... I'm counting on you, my cards... my turn, draw! ([] 1)"

Takashi grins. "I activate the Speed Spell, Power Overload! This doubles the attack power of my Chthonian Emperor Dragon!" a blue aura appears around Takashi's monster. The Dragon let out a powerfull roar as its attack doubles. (Atk: 4800)

 

"4800 attack points! Curse these blasted Speed Spells!" Kakume hissed.

 

"And that's not all, Now I Gemini Summon Chthonian Emperor Dragon, and regain his effect!" The dragon let's out another powerful roar as a red aura mixes with the blue aura around it, creating a purple aura. "Now go, Chthonian, attack Jinzo lord!" Chthonian insinerates Jinzo Lord. Kakume yells and grunts as his life point drop and so do his Speed Counters. "And now I finish this! Chthonian Emperor Dragon, deliver the final blow!" With that Chthonian hits Kakume with a another fire blast "Gwaaaaa!". Kakume's D-Wheel lets out exhaust and slows to a stop (K: 0) while Takashi speeds onward.

 

"Grrr... curse him...!" Kakume snarled.

 

'I hope the others are ok...' Takashi thought as he sped onward to the Tops residential area.

Kabeshin laughed as Ai finished her move.

"I see, so your deck relies on your spell cards,"

He grinned and drew a new card from his deck.

"Well how's this for a spell card? I activate the Amulet of Ambition and equip it to my Gene Warped Warwold."

"What?"

A pendant with a weird eye on it appeared around the Gene-Warped Warwolf's neck and it roared.

"This can only be equipped to a normal monsters," Kabeshin explained "And when that monster attacks another with higher level, he gains 500 attack for each extra level."

"Nah?"

 

"Go my wolf, attack," Kabeshin ordered.

The wolf's ATK rose to 3000 and it charged at Akwa, destroying her and reducing Ai's life points to 3500.

"I'm not done yet," Kabeshin said "I activate Birthright and resurrect my Tri Horned Dragon,"

Kabeshin's trap card flipped up and his dragon re-emerged from it, snarling.

"Oh dear," Ai muttered.

"Tri Horned Dragon attack!" Kabeshin ordered.

The dragon clawed at Ai, reducing her life points to 650.

"There's no way you can win now," Kabeshin laughed.

 

Ai trembled slightly and drew a card from her deck.

"I summon Spell Girl - Gale in attack mode," Ai declared.

"And?"

"End my turn," Ai said.

Kabeshin almost burst out into laughter.

"You expect that thing to protect you? Come on, get real."

Ai glared at him.

"Fine, have it your way," Kabeshin said "Tri-Horned Dragon attack."

Kabeshin's monster roared and charged forwards.

"I play Gale's effect," Ai said "By discarding Wind Spirit from my hand, your attack is negated."

Gale raised her staff and a purple sphere surrounded her, fending off Tri-Horned Dragon's attack.

"Now, thanks to my Wind Spirit, not only does Gale get another 100 attack points, I can also special summon Wind Union in defense mode."

A rather cheeky looking fairy appeared on Ai's field.

 

"Hiding behind more monsters are we?" Kabeshin laughed "Very well, your move."

Ai drew a card from her deck.

Trust me Virgo's voice spoke to her You will easily win

Ai's eyes widened as she saw what she'd drawn.

"So, giving up yet?" Kabeshin asked.

Ai swallowed.

"I activate the field spell, Magical Academy!" She said.

"Huh?"

Kabeshin's eyes widened as the scenery around him transformed into a giant field with a white brick path leading up to an ornate silver castle standing behind Ai.

"What the heck," he mouthed.

"When this card is activated, once per turn I can send the top five cards of my deck to the graveyard," Ai explained "And for each spell card discarded I get to add a spell counter to my castle."

Ai picked up the top three cards from her deck and showed them to Kabeshin, they were Spell Girl - Luna, Magical Mascot, Training Mage, Spell Girl - Krystal and Double Spell.

"That's two spell counters," Ai said "And by removing spell counters, I can special summon a monster from my graveyard with equal level!"

Two bright white orbs appeared around Ai and vanished, turning into her Water union.

"Wait, you're not trying to..." Kabeshin stammered.

 

"I tune Wind Spirit and Spell Girl - Gale," Ai said "For Spell - Girl Whynd!"

Kabeshin took a step back as Ai's monster descended onto the field in a gust of wind.

"And I'm not done there," Ai said "Now I tune Whynd and Water Union, for Spell Queen - Virgo!"

A pillar of light exploded down onto Ai's field and Virgo emerged out of it.

"Spell Queen - Virgo gains 200 ATK for each spell in my graveyard," Ai explained as Virgo's ATK rose to 4000.

"You're joking," Kabeshin gasped.

"That's not all," Ai said "When Spell Queen - Virgo attacks a monster in defense position, you take damage equal to the difference in their points."

"True," Kabeshin chuckled "But in case you haven't noticed, I don't have any monsters in defense mode."

"That's where her third effect comes in," Ai explained.

"Third effect?" Kabeshin asked.

"When she attacks I can send the top card of my deck to the graveyard," Ai explained "And if that card is a spell card, then the monster she's attacking changes battle position."

Virgo aimed her staff at the Gene-Warped Warwolf.

"Your monster only has 100 defense points," Ai said "So if this next card is a spell, you're finished."

A bead of sweat dropped down Kabeshin's face as Ai prepared to send the top card of her deck to the graveyard.

"But what if it's not a spell?" She thought "I might lose."

Have faith Virgo said Remember, faith in your deck will ensure your victory.

"Virgo attack!" Ai ordered.

She took the top card from her deck and her eyes lit up in amazement, the card she'd drawn was Fire Spirit.

"Unreal," she gasped.

The Gene Warped Warwolf knelt down, crossing its four arms across its chest.

"N-no, wait," Kabeshin asked.

Virgo raised her staff and fired a beam of white light towards Kabeshin's monster, wiping it out completely along with Kabeshin's life points. He was thrown backwards and slid along the floor, perfectly still.

"Is he okay?" Ai asked as the holograms faded.

"He'll be fine," Virgo said "Do not worry."

"I barely know how to keep this thing right way up," she retorted as she swerved accordingly, nearly falling off the bike. "I'm doing the best I can!"

"Now, Saggitarius, scout the place out for any Celestial Beings. If you find one, report back to me," said Cody. "I might need some company," said Saggitarius. "Oh, that's not a problem," said a mysterious voice behind them. "Come, Celestial Being. Spell Reactor- Leo!" said the voice. "Go with the centaur. I will give you stake,"

'Takashi,' Gemini said. 'another of my brethren is close.'

 

"Seriously? Where?" Takashi said. Sudden a D-Wheeler (Alyssa) came out of nowhere and almost hits Takashi. Thinking quickly Takashi slammed on the brakes, skidding to a hault.

"Who are you in the shadows?" asked Cody. "No- one in particular, but your can call me Johny" he said. He was still in the shadows. "Why don't you come out?" asked Cody. "I haven't done that in years," said Johny.

That was too close, Scorpio whispered. That's Gemini. We have to escape!

 

"I'm on it, I'm on it!" Alyssa muttered, desperately shooting away.

 

Virgo is just ahead her starsign warned. I believe she, if no one else, forgave me. Be ready to escape.

 

"What'd you do, anyway?" the thief wondered aloud.

 

I'll explain later. Now, you should meet the duelists ahead, the scorpion instructed. Her duelist obeyed her command, managing to stop prior to running over a man on the ground.

 

"What's with him?" Alyssa asked no one in particular, not dismounting; the fear of being ripped apart by a celestial being was too great.

'Scorpio!' Gemini shouted. 'After him, Takashi!'

 

"Got it." Takashi shouted as floored it and soon caught up to the Wheeler. "Hey hold on a minute!" he shouted.

Alright, no more risks, Scorpio hissed. Gemini is after us. Get out of here!

 

"Gladly," Alyssa murmured, shooting off again.

"Leo! It's Gemini and Scorpio!" said Saggitarius. "You'rrrre rrrright! Lets get them!" said Leo. "Not if I can help it Leo!" said Johny. Johny had shrot brown hair and black eyes. He had a triumphant glow to him. "You'rrre out of the shadows masterrrr!" said Leo. "You bet he his!" said Cody. "I thank you Cody!" said Leo. "D- Wheels on!" said Cody and Johny. "Lets ride!" said Cody.

Takashi looks to his left and sees cody speed up to him. "Yo, Cody, I don't get this guy? why is he running from us....?" He said. "Hey you!" He shouted at the D-Wheeler. "Duel me right here and now! I don't know why you're running away, but this is the only way you'll be able to get rid of us!"

Ai dropped to the ground, breathing a sigh of relief.

"I have absolutely no idea what's going on," she moaned "First this guy starts chasing me and now there's these other people with these weird monsters."

"I'm sure they all felt the same way when they first experienced it," Virgo said.

"Huh?"

Ai looked up at her, Virgo's image hadn't vanished, even though Ai had already taken the card off her duel disk.

"How should I explain this?" Virgo muttered "Well, I suppose it's best to start at the beginning."

"I'm not even sure I want to know," Ai replied, standing up "I don't even want anything to do with this if it's going to get me into trouble."

Virgo heaved a sigh and vanished from sight. Ai looked up as she vanished, then took a look at the card in her hand.

Although, before I couldn't win a duel to save my life, she thought and then she comes along and suddenly, I can. It's a tempting thought but I'm not sure I even want to be mixed up in this.

 

She looked round and noticed her D-wheel still standing there. She took one last look at Kabeshin and mounted it, driving off.

"Maybe I should just go home," she muttered "Whatever is going on, I'm not having anything to do with it."

[Supreme Gamesmaster]

"Gladly," Alyssa repeated. "Activate Speed World now!" she cried, using the function of the D-Wheel to force herself into a Duel with Takashi, and the whispered, "Scorpio, do you have a version of yourself for Speed World?"

 

Of course, the dark sign scoffed, sounding incredulous. Here, I'll show you... Alright, you should be ready to Duel.

 

"If you say so," she whispered. She drew her opening hand and smiled, marveling at her starsign's omniscience.

"Duel Mode. Auto Pilot, Standby." said the computer.

"Oh, yea Takashi! This is Johny. He has a CB too!" said Cody. Cody saw Johny rear up to him. "I don't do riding duels, so les do a normal Duel," he ssaid. "That's my style!" said Cody as he dettached his duel disk.

 

"Duel!" both of them said.

 

"I'll go first!" said Johny. "I Summon Spell Reactor- Freezas!" he said. "Now then, I'll place this face down, and end my turn!" said Johny.

So your take a total of 1500 Points!

 

Johny: Yea, but you still take 800 damage for your little Spell Card thanks to my Feezas!
