"I see," Ai replied, not really having had the answer she wanted "But still this D wheel's awesome. I've always wanted to see one up close."

She stopped, noticing that the other person was riding back towards them.

"An accident?" Ai replied, her eyes widening "What sort of accident?"

One word was flying through Alyssa's mind, repeating itself over and over again in an endless line of beration: Dammit.

There were several duelists in the city; she didn't know why, but a source of cards is a source of cards. Unfortunately, this accident had interrupted her heist. Two duelists having a Riding Duel had been stupid enough to crash straight into each other. Police were swarming all over the area along with the ambulances. She'd been planning to rob one of them for one of the few cards she still needed for her perfect Deck — the Dark Magician of Chaos — but this had changed everything.

"Scorpio!" she hissed, removing the still mint card from her pocket and staring at the picture. The all-too-familiar voice of the Card Soul rang back to her.

"This complicates things. I sense... for the first time in eons, my brethren are near. This can only bring ill fortune. I will vibrate when they are particularly near."

"What...? Your brethren...?" Alyssa breathed.

"I will explain at a more fortuitous time. You must conceal me, and flee this place." The human pocketed her companion and jumped off the edge of the roof she was on. Grabbing onto the building's windowsill, she managed to slow her fall to a survivable degree before dropping the relatively short distance to solid ground.

"There was a riding duel, and then the crashed!" said Cody. Hey Boss, shouldn't we go help them? asked Saggitarius, his card Spirit. 'I don't think so Saggitarius, we don't know 'em and I don't want to have attention,' whispered Cody to Saggitarius. Fine with me. As long as you don't get into trouble, thats fine. said Saggitarius. "Well then guys, shouldn't we go-" started Cody only to be interrupted by Saggitarius. Boss! There's 'nother star card coming! YEEHAW! My brethren are sooo gonna get it! "Heym, guys. I'm going to go to my house, you guys check out the accident."

OoC: Hm... That wasn't exactly how I thought a Starsign card would react, but you are controlling Saggitarius so no problems!

Max looked at Cody. "Eh... I everything right with you?" Then he heard Libra's voice again: 'Be carefull, I sence one of my equals coming... But this one seems to be corrupted in some way...' Max didn't think about it, but he talked out loud: "What!? Corrupted?"

"A riding duel?" Ai didn't bother to suppress the surprise on her face "And they crashed? I thought those things had auto pilots or something."

She looked down at Max's D wheel, biting her lit. Cody was about to say something else when he cut off, ending his sentence completely differently. Ai looked up at him, confused.

"But...I don't even have a D wheel, I'll get left behind," she said.

She was about to continued when Max suddenly spoke, but it didn't sound like it was part of the conversation.

"Why are you two acting so strange?" She asked.

"I see," Ai muttered "God, this is sounding expensive. Good thing I saved up before coming here."

She carried on gazing at Max's D-wheel, still feeling in awe of it.

"I've never had a riding duel before," she commented "They look like fun, and a lot more exiting than regular duels."

The stars overhead twinkled slightly and a voice spoke within the voids of space.

"I can sense my chosen one," it said "she's close, closer than she's ever been. I must go."

"Yeah, soon!" Max replied.

A little bit later...

"So, we're here! Oh noes! He's closing the store!" He accelerated to fullspeed and almost crashed in the store, but stopped just in time. "Hey, Joe,can you just let this girl over there get her first D-Wheel?"

Joe looked at him. "Of course! Come in, come in!"

Ai panicked slightly as Max sped up. She chased after him, arriving at the store almost out of breath.

"Y-yeah, thanks," she panted, leaning on her knees.

She recovered her energy and followed Joe into the store, gazing around in awe at the D wheels being displayed.

"Wow, I never thought I'd be able to get one so easily."

She cast around a bit until her eyes fell on a D wheel the same color as her hair with white speed lines on the side. She walked up to it, giving it a good look and deciding if it suited her or not.

Joe took the card an did the blah blah. "So, the D-Wheel is yours, and here's the bill! It did just cost you 200 $!" Joe smiled. Then Max realized a thing. "Hey! You said you'd never Riding Dueled before! Here take these cards!" He gave her some Speed Spells to put in her deck.
