See' date=' here's the comedy of it all-

France is known as one of, if not THE, most liberal countries in the world. It has ARIZONA laws on speed. Yes, worse...

We aren't generous, we are run by idiots, almost constantly. I want Reagan back...

[b'] Sorry to say that we will not have another Reagan, the next presidential idiot we would have is Sarah Palin, and that is one wacky bish. [/b]

Oh, and let us not forget! The Middle East and China own so much of us do to debt/dependence! We could free ourselves from the Middle East by drilling in Alaska, but 'that would destroy the nature' @_@

Like our own US company BP isn't helping with that

If we drilled Alaska, we'd have more money and less dependence on the Middle East.

But this country is run by idiots like you said

1) Unless you can supply evidence Reagan was an idiot, your argument is invalid

2) I find that BP is getting too much crap. It isn't like they planned this to happen, and each solution they try (even if it fails) comes out of their own pockets. So it isn't like they aren't trying to do stuff, it just takes a lot of time and money.

3) Ah, but it wouldn't be the government that would be drilling, it would be the Oil Company

Sarah is not as bad as she's made out to be... but she's not good. Like Bush.

Funny thing about BP... When the Obama Administration was supposed to inspect them, it went like this-

"Is everything in order, BP?"

"Yes."

"Good, you pass."

No real inspection.

1. That was PROReagan.

2. You're right, Obama just screwed up.

3. The Government has to ALLOW them to drill, and they won't.

1) DL never said what Reagan or what Palin plans to do that made him an idiot

2) Obama shouldn't be involved in this. This isn't the government's job to fix, it's BP's

3) The government shouldn't have control over this at all. It is just obsessive control issues that they do

1. DL? This is Kitty.

2. Obama's administration scraped it under the rug! Or did you miss that part of my post?

3. True' date=' but they do.

[/quote']

1) Sorry, getting confused. I'm trying to do too much at once in my head

2) Yeah, that should have never happened. Any form of government should say "Hey, deal with this" to BP and left it

3) Yeah, of only we had a less involved government

No love for me PMFD.

Yes, they did. But BP should've took time to check their equipment. It's really both parties faults. And the BP Chief executive should be over here and not in England watching some yacht race.

The government is just Fed up.

1) Again, sorry. It's been a hectic day...

2) It wasn't an equipment issue. It was a methane gas bubble explosion when they mistimed adding sea water to get rid of it

2) I see what you did there

BP screwed up and now have dunked us all in the drink' date=' although this catastrohpe gives American ingenuity a chance to shine through.

That's the story and I'm sticking by it.

[/quote']

But, again, BP isn't entirely at fault. This stuff is hard to fix, and when they managed to get the equipment to get the oil out of the water, the coast guard (gov't workers) told them to turn back.

Government needs to get the heck out of the way and let us Americans do what we do best. Step it up when the going gets tough.

Why should that be so surprising? There are some irl topics that make even better topics then the normal topics for a while there' date=' although we do revert back to the normal topics after a while. lol

YEA LET'S DO THAT!

New topic: If you could have a Pokemon as a daily item (eg. alarm clock, basin, plant), what would you have?
