MarbleZone
Or rather, D-Hero Diamond Dude. I never used or faced a DDT deck, but something came to my mind. Diamond Dude's effect allows players to go around certain costs/requirements because the Spell Cards are activated in the Graveyard, correct? Does that mean Burst Stream of Destruction effectively becomes a Raigeki when activated this way? If so, do people run it in DDT or not? If not, why? Teach me. :P
JesusofChaos™
Yes it does, but it is not run because if those sort of cards get into your hand they are dead
Yogg-Saron
But on Burst Streams effect, it states that you can only "activate" which means activate effect if a BEWD is on your side. So no, that is false. If it wereDDT would be the new meta.
JesusofChaos™
^Diamond dude lets you activate cards effects, ignoring the requirment see the FAQ: * "Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude" doesn’t actually activate the Normal Spell card itself. Instead, he just activates its effect. So the Spell Card remains in the Graveyard. * Since you are only activating the Normal Spell Card’s effect, and not the Normal Spell Card itself, you do not pay costs and you do not have to meet any activation requirements. For example, you would not pay 1000 Life Points for “Confiscation”, or discard 1 card for “Monster Reincarnation”, or need a “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” on the field to activate the effect of “Burst Stream of Destruction”. Guest PikaPerson01
No one plays it in a DDT deck, situational when it's drawn, what JoC said, etc.
iAmNateXero
If people would play cards like that, would they be more prone to use Spell reproduction? Best case, I get a spell from grave with DD, worst, i send the crap spells i got for a better spell. Just a thought.
