Uria, Lord of Searing Flames: Discussion

It will be better once Armityle is released in TCG. It will actually have more use than just as a card at the front of your folder right between the two other Sacred Beasts.

lol no. Armityle sucks.

Please play better. Reasoning. Monster Gate. E-Hero Prisma' date=' Phantom of Chaos. I know there are possibly others. They can somewhat help. Bad=Agreed. Playable=Somewhat. I am aware Armityle isnt at a competitive level but built right can be decent in fun play.

It stays on the field and acts as an equip card

That answers your question. You are able to send face-up Trap Cards to summon Uria. As Blast With Chain stays face-up, that means you can use it as a cost for summoning Uria. It just means Uria doesnt get the extra power boost that it would get from Continuous Traps.

Terrible effect, terrible stats. You're better off using Reasoning, Monster Gate, Prisma, and PoC on something else. Especially since each Sacred Beast runs such an opposing strategy, the deck would practically have zero synergy.

When you summon Armityle, you should be in perfect position to pull off an OTK.

Lol, 5 card OTK. You can't really call it an OTK if it took 3+ turns to set up/

I said fun play. It would get destroyed in competitive play. It doesnt have the support to be competitive. Like I said. It would be fun to use but competitive play, no way. You don't summon the Sacred Beasts. Reasoning / Gate Turbo is one way of using Armityle. It can work to some extent. Prisma is to dump one of them. Phantom of Chaos is used to copy one. As for the third one, there's nothing a Reasoning cant solve. Lucky enough to pull out a Phantom of Chaos, you have your third one. If not, there's Monster Gate. There's a good chance if you run 2 or 3 of each Beast it will be milled to the Graveyard. Once you can summon Armityle, swing for game.

Better stuff to use it on. Just because you say: "LOL! IT"LL BE FUN TO USE ARMITAEL!" doesn't mean it is, especially since fun is subjective. The fact is that it sucks, and Arimtael coming out wont make Uria any more playable in a competitive or uncompetitive environment.

Thats what I thought, but I wasn't sure since I think Blast with chain says that it counts as an equip spell card while it's face up on the field or something.... not that it really matters, Uria's still pretty much useless :/

I wouldnt mind making a deck around this' date=' but Jinzo will just totally own it

[/quote']

Actually, no. Jinzo negates the activation of traps. So if you have Uria on the field, if won't be affected.

But if you haven't summoned it yet, then yeah. Jinzo does stop it.

And Jinzo is far easier to summon than activating friggen 3 Counter Traps, leave alone drawing them, along with Uria himself.

I do have a Uria deck on DMU that uses it with 'Darkness'. Very effective.

I was wondering if someone would ever do that...
