Xemnas stopped his charge. "Hmph. Another Soul Reaper?" He turned to block Ichigo's assault. "You're no different than the rest," Xemnas said slashing back. "Oh yeah? Maybe I can change your mind," Ichigo said in a stern voice. He placed his hand on his face and said, "Bankai."

 

ooc: Roxas, leave Xemnas with a little dignity could ya? I'm having trouble thinking of plot fight for Zaraki. Could you take care of Ichigo's fight with Xemnas? If not I'll help where I can. . .

OoC: I'm guessing the Arrancar that Zaraki saw was mine?

Hitsugaya wandered throught the 4th Squad barracks looking for someone to heal him...

He had just gotten in and he wa feeling woozy. It went black and he collapsed...

 

The Arrancar had been noticed by Zaraki, "You die now, Shinigami!" he growled. He pounced over at Zaraki, unsheethed his sword and swung wildly.

*Marluxia kept searching but the man remained ever so elusive*

 

Ooc: when should I say is name? (Question4 Aeon and Clariex)

ooc: Wait till the end of this part Marly, where you'll explain it to the others. In the meantime, Matluxia could be spending his time fighting some of Hollow and Heartless that are appearing around the islands.

Ic:

 

"What do you want from me?!" Kazemaru demanded as he struggled against his shackles. Ansem grinned.

 

"I just want the power in that fist of yours. You see, it is rather vital to me if I am to obtain what I want."

 

At that moment, one of the Vasto Lord messengers approached Ansem and whispered in his ear. "Tch. Well, it seems as though most of the data in the lab has been evacuated. Looks like we don't have a choice. Dispatch the Chernabog."

 

The Vasto Lord nodded and departed. Ansem turned back to Kazemaru. "Now then, why don't we make a deal. I hear you Soul Reapers tend to be honor-bound. So I will swear this to you - defeat an opponent of my choosing, and you go free. I'll never bother you again. However, if you fail, you will help me. Refuse, and I'll step up things sooner than planned, and ensure that each of your friends die a slow, painful death. Then you will. How does that sound?"

 

Kazemaru seemed to consider this for a moment. "How do I know YOU won't go back on YOUR word?!"

 

Ansem snapped his fingers - behind him, some lights turned on and illuminated 3 figures, each of them leaking extremely powerful Spiritual Pressure. "Are you really in a position to question that? These three are arrancar, and are more than strong enough to eliminate nearly all of your friends. One is already out there as we speak."

 

Kazemaru hung his head. "Fine...who am I supposed to fight?"

 

"Why, me." Vilayna said with a smirk as she waltzed up to Kazemaru, undoing his shackles with a touch. "Let's have some fun."

Hueco Mundo

The Chernabog, fully recovered after consuming many Hollow and Heartless, appeared outside of the laboratory, which was encased in an odd black dome. But that was fine. Its orders were simply to eliminate the place, along with anyone inside. Closing its great eyes, it transported itself into the dome, where all suddenly became black. But it was no matter. It still had the sense of touch. Raising its arms, an enormous eruption of flames and Lava burst from the ground and began to fill the lab, incinerating everything in a demonic inferno, not-so-slowly reaching the higher floors. The heat that the demon felt was evidence enough that its attack was successful, and with that, it transported away.

[Hueco Mundo the Plain of the Hollows]

 

Tousen arose from the ruins of the laboratory. He had a good idea of what had just happened. "That thing from the Front Gate, huh? I was sure we had slain it," Tousen thought to himself amongst the debris of the laboratory. He turned to sense the fight with Xemnas ensuing. Tousen then turned his attention toward finding any clues as to the whereabouts of Ansem and the others. After a few minutes of searching, Tousen managed to find a safe that appeared unscratched. With one quick swing of his zanpakuto, the safe split apart, revealing a recording device. Tousen listened to the device, which revealed a set of directions. Apparently, the directions led to a device that could teleport materials and personnel directly to Ansem's palace. This would explain how the Heartless got into Hueco Mundo in the first place. Without a second thought, Tousen made his way toward the device, hoping to put an end to the 'clones'. Even if he could not defeat Ansem, he would at least become a pain in Ansem's side before he went...

 

OoC - How's it looking so far? :D

ooc: ^^ Looking good. The main party is going to need a method of getting to the Realm Of Darkness sooner or later.

ooc: Maybe Zero could be the one to take them there?

He is against Ansem after all

"For so much energy, you can't fight worth anything can you?" Zaraki dodged the man's swings and flash stepped behind him. "Maybe, if you can cut me, I'll actually fight you. But for now, go on, hit me."

 

ooc: Yeah, Seth, that's YOUR arrancar. XD Waiting for Roxas to complete Ichigo's part.

[Zexaeon]

ooc: Lol, Lexaeus doesn't cut. The tomahawk doesn't have a blade - it's designed for crushing. Also, that could be an idea, Clariex.

[Dad]

ooc: Not Lexeaus, but Seth's arrancar. Unknown atm.

ooc: o_O I have no idea - I guess after Kazemaru obtains 'it' for Ansem. But that'll be soon, and Kaze left Kazemaru to be a pawn of whoever needs him.

Tousen continued to follow the directions on the recording device, listening to them every so often to confirm. After a few minutes, Tousen came to a small dune. He stopped for a moment. Over the hill, he sensed the presence of several Heartless as well as two other people. Those must be the scientists that evacuated the facility before the incident. Tousen hesitated to make a move; it would be wiser to make a move after most of the caravan made it through the game. Tousen waited until about half the caravan had made it through the gate. When the two scientists made it through the gate, Tousen made his move. He was spotted immediately and the Heartless began to mobilize. Tousen merely raised his zanpakuto and shouted, "Howl! Suzumushi!" This knocked all the Heartless unconscious, allowing Tousen to slip into the gate before the gate closed.

 

[Ansem's Palace - Lower levels]

 

Tousen emerged from the gate inside Ansem's Palace. However, the gate had transported him to a different area than that of the caravan. The gate had teleported him to the lower levels of the palace. "What a nuisance," Tousen thought to himself, trying not to draw unwanted attention. He was in the enemy's territory now; he had to tread carefully...

 

OoC - Tousen has finally breached Ansem's Palace. Tousen will not engage Ansem directly - just for the record.

ooc: Lol, just be careful with what you're doing. >=D Keep him there too long and I may be tempted to kill him. Jk

 

Ic:

 

"Y-you..?" Kazemaru asked Vilayna as she approached him.

 

"Yes, me. You'll be fighting me. We can begin anytime you like."

 

The boy hesitated for a moment, watching as Ansem casually stood aside (though his attention seemed to be drawn elsewhere suddenly). He then held up both fists, and prepared for battle. "Ladies first." he said.

 

"Ooooh, this one has manners." Vilayna remarked. She then charged and leaped over the boy, landing behind him and aiming a sweeping kick at his legs. Caught off guard, Kazemaru fell to see her standing above him, heel raised and ready to strike down. He quickly rolled away and righted himself, aiming a fist at the woman's face.

 

She quickly side-stepped and slammed her open palm into his chest, knocking the wind out of him and sending him backwards. "Come ooooon. You've yet to touch me."

 

The boy was angry now. He flash-stepped behind her and kicked her across her back, sending reeling forward as he then connected e 3-hit combo attack to the back of her skull. The Heartless hit a wall as she stuttered at the shock. This was his opening. He charged up the energy in his fist, focusing until it glowed a bright orange color. Then, throwing his fast back, he rushed forward, prepared to end the fight with the next blow.

 

The woman quickly turned around with a grin on her face and held out her hand - as she did, a long silvery chain shot out from her sleeve and wrapped itself around the boy's wrist. Barely a second later, she was pulling on the chain until his arm was twisted behind his back, her standing behind him and talking into his air.

 

"You fight like a young man." She said teasingly. "Inexperienced..." Vilayna swiftly unraveled the chain with a quick tug, sending Kazemaru spinning upward into the air. She then leaped up and sent a mighty kick soundly into his chin. "...and quick to finish." she added upon her landing, as the boy was sent skidding across the floor, barely able to gasp for breath with the swelling now taking effect on his neck.

 

"Looks like you lose this one, boy." Ansem said with a smirk as Kazemaru struggled to try and stand again. "Per our arrangement, that means you work for me. Have you any objections?" he asked as he gestured toward several viewing portals, each of them picturing some of Kazemaru's allies. "I would hate to have to kill them all so soon." Ansem goaded.

 

The boy just hung his head, and nodded silently.

 

"Excellent." Ansem then turned his attention to one of the three nearby figures that had remained silent. "Alexander. I want you to go and see to our intruder."

 

The arrancar stepped into the light and bowed, before vanishing in a sonido.

[Ansem's Palace - Lower Levels]

 

Tousen continued through the lower levels of the palace, keeping his hand on his zanpakuto in case of an attack. He did not have to walk far before he sensed the presence of the two scientists. Tousen hid behind a wall so as to not be noticed. "It seems that annoying Soul Reaper followed us," said one of the scientists. "Why should we worry? Lord Ansem will have that pest taken care of in no time," the other scientist said with a smug look on his face. Tousen wanted to jump out and strike them down, but he maintained his composure. He figured that it would be a better idea for the scientists to lead him to the main laboratory so he could dispose of them, the data, and any extra clones. The scientists began to make their move. Tousen kept to the shadows, being careful not to draw any unwanted attention.

 

The scientists covered a lot of ground before making their way to what seemed like a dead-end. Tousen had managed to avoid the squadrons of Heartless positioned along the route. Tousen watched as the wall seemed to fade away to reveal a laboratory. Before he could make a move, one scientist said, "I will take care of the pest. You go on ahead." Tousen had been detected, but how?

 

OoC - Another fight ensues :D

[Phantom Roxas]

Ichigo, his Bankai active, stared at Xemnas.

"You seem like a tough guy, so don't try to disappoint me." Ichigo charged at Xemnas, but vanished, appearing behind Xemnas before disappearing again. Ichigo was dashing around Xemnas until he appeared in the air, ready to strike his blade down on Xemnas's skull.

[Zexaeon]

Alexander Delupis sauntered his way down to the lower levels of the palace. Ansem was out of sight, so he would take his time. Why waste effort trying to hurry to the intruder? It was better this way.

 

Besides, he hated following that guy's orders. He was a douchebag. Why the Hollow allowed some other creature to lord over them was a mystery to him. And yet for all his protests, he already knew he couldn't beat Ansem. Or that damned woman he kept with him. She wouldn't even let him GET to Ansem if he tried.

 

Suddenly, he picked up the rising Spiritual Pressure of a fight happening lower down. "Man, that scientist bastard is trying to take my fun! We'll see about this!" The hast Arrancar started bolting down the stairs toward the source of the fight.

[Ansem's Palace - Lower Levels]

 

"So, you are the Soul Reaper that followed us into Hueco Mundo and attacked our lab," the scientist began. Tousen readied his zanpakuto. "I see you're a man of few words," the scientist said, brandishing a sword of his own. Tousen paused for a moment; he recognized the sword that the scientist had drawn. It belonged to Toshiro Hitsugaya, the captain of Squad 10! "Bankai!" the scientist said. Without even having to complete the enchantment, two large wings of ice formed across the scientist's back. This was not good. Hitsugaya's bankai had the ability to freeze anything it touched instantly. Tousen also noticed that the scientist was wearing the same green vest as his companion, so his bankai would be useless to him. "Don't think about using your bankai here, Soul Reaper," the scientist began, "because it will do you no good."

 

Tousen was in a bind. The only available attack he had that could take the scientist out was Benihiko, but that would leave him wide open to attack. He would have to somehow use the basic attack to knock out the scientist before landing the finishing blow with Benihiko. Unfortunately, the passage was narrow, which provided little room to manuever. This was going to require some careful manuevering. Before Tousen could react, the scientist had frozen over. "What just happened?" Tousen asked. It seemed that the green vest had somehow interacted with the power of the zanpakuto the scientist was wielding. Upon closer inspection, Tousen had come to a conclusion. "Poor deluted fool," Tousen said, "your lust for power clouded your judgment. This zanpakuto is far beyond your ability. You could never hope to control a bankai of that power!' With one swift stroke, Tousen smashed the frozen corpse of the scientist into many pieces, making sure to keep a hand intact. After sheathing his zanpakuto, Tousen picked up the hand of the scientist and placed it upon the wall. The wall faded away to reveal the laboratory...

 

OoC - Okay, so it wasn't really much of a fight. Then again, it was a pretty sweet way to go out! :D

[Zexaeon]

"Hold it right there." A taunting voice came to Tousen's ears.

 

Behind him, a lanky arrancar with a joking expression and green hair that hung over his face (not covering his eyes though) stood, one hand on his own sword. "See, I can't let you go any further than that. Cuz I have these orders to eliminate ya. So, why don't we dance?" The Arrancar pulled out his Zanpakuto, holding it out in challenge. "Unless you're scared, blindy." He the laughed at his own insult. "Hehheh, hey, if I move the furniture around, will you get confused, blindy? HAHAHAHHAHA!"

Tousen turned to face his opponent. "I find your lack of common sense disturbing", Tousen exclaimed. Did his opponent not realize what he had done prior to arriving here? Tousen reached for his zanpakuto, but suddenly stopped. He sensed something different about this foe. His spiritual pressure did not feel the same as the clones or scientists. The desire to blindly kill their foe for no reason was not apparent with this foe. "Let me ask you something," Tousen began, "Are you here because you truly believe what you are doing is right? Or are you just a puppet to be controlled by its master?" Tousen sensed his opponent's resolve beggining to diminish...

[Zexaeon]

Alexander just grinned. "If you're asking me if I like Ansem - HA! I hate that bastard. But lemme take a sec to think about this. Hmm. Alright. I'll tell ya why I'm here. Because I like to watch things die. Ansem's a douchbag, true enough, heheh, ....douchebag....but one of the perks of working around here is that I get to do exactly what I love." he paused. "You know what I love? I love slashing my blade deep into the flesh of people, and listening to the sound of the metal ripping their bones and muscles apart. It's a pretty sound."

 

The arrancar raised his sword high and grinned maniacally at Tousen. "So stop talkin' and bring it!!!"
