Crystal Counter: discussion

Most "discussion" threads include the card picture or it's effect, just because no one really feels like memorizing crappy Crystal Beast support.

Crystal Counter

Trap Card

Effect: Send all cards in your Spell and Trap card zone to the Graveyard. Place as many "Crystal Beast" monses as possible from your Graveyard in your Spell and Trap card zone,face-up as Continuous Spell cards.Durng the nd Pha destroy all face-up "Crystal Beast" cards you control.

I fortunately use either a stacked dragon deck with BLS, BEUD, and DMK or my Crystal Beast deck. Apparently, this card is useless to me, because of the fact that CED-EOTE is in my other deck.

What im saying is, the only point to play this card is to quickly pull out your Crystal Beasts, special summon Rainbow Dragon, while all seven, (ie. 5 different ones in the Spell/Trap card zone and 2 on the field, etc.) are on the field. Once the Crystal Beasts of different names are in your graveyard, you can use Rainbow D's effect to return all cards on the field to their owners hands. Again, doing so will have your opponent wide open for a direct attack. Use whatever necessary to do that.

In relation to Gravi-Crush Dragon.

Summon him, then activate Crystal Counter. Use his effect to clear the field of your opponents monsters. Same with Magna-Slash except with Spell and Traps.

Now, in conjuction with CED-EOTE.

Play this card to max out your field. Then use CED's effect to destroy all cards in your hand and field. The rest is pretty much fill-in-the-blanks.

That's my opinion of the card, but really, i could care less about it, because i rely more on summoning and swarming the opponent as quick as possible and relying on defensive cards like Sakaretsu Armor, Mirror Force, etc.

I'm saying your opinion is bad, because you're a bad player.

Rainbow Dragon SS-es regardless of where the C-Beasts are, as long as there are 7, and Rainbow Dragon sucks.

There's better ways to clear your opponent's field using less specific cards then Gravi Crush, a bunch of C-Beasts, and Crystal Counter.

Lol, traditional. You have MUCH better choices in Traditional.

Crystal Blessing is far Superior to Crystal Counter.

Blessing is so much better 2 CB's Back into your S/T Zone works wonders for a Crystal Abundance OTK. Yesterday in a practice Duel I had Abundance out in 3 Turns. Blessing was one of the main cards I used. Counter just seems too risky

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned' date=' except from your hand while you have 7 "Crystal Beast" cards with different names on the field or in your Graveyard. This card cannot activate its effects the turn it is Special Summoned.[/b'] ● Send all "Crystal Beast" monsters you control to the Graveyard; this card gains 1000 ATK for each card sent. You can activate this effect during either player’s turn. ● You can remove from play all "Crystal Beast" Monster Cards in your Graveyard to return all cards on the field to their owners’ Decks.
