Chapter 1:Clues

It was a stormy night.A night where a strike from deep blue lightning can attack the Imperial city of Seeren.Caphias Cain,Commisar of the Imperial guard 51`st cadian found a warpway gate of greatly coloured insignias that has been lain dormant in the deserts of the planet Kronus.Of course the cursed sky was still thundering the plains and roads of Seeren so the dark forces of anything should strike anytime soon.But no.

 

"Good morning,Braniac" Capihas said to his brain damaged friend."My name is not Brainiac.its Tommy!" the psyker roared back.

"well, calm down!"

"no!Braniac is something that insults all other phsicic maniacs in the world espacially me!"

"I said calm down,fool!"

"You dont know how it feels like."

Anger was raging inside him."I had enough!" he said then ran away.at the night Braniac or otherwise known as Tommy,ran away...litterly ran away in the lost shroud of the plains of Seeren witch is covered every where with grass and poisonous bugs crawling on the thick floor.Caphias rounded 5 guardsmen of his cadian army and carried on at the fields of green,or maybe sometimes yellow.Caphias searched since 9:00 and now its 12:46.As Caphias and the men where heading back,loud inhuman cries settled from the North.They where going South but they turned and followed and bursting yells coming from the north.It was an hour passed and the cries grew louder as Caphias felt pain and excitement all over his body.Caphias Cain and his guardsmen spotted a flesh-gone body laying on the thin grass the next five minuites.It looked like body was burned before the primary suffering commenced."It's infested" said Caphias,"soldier,call out some transports now." "Sir.yes sir!" the soldier obeyed.Caphias and his squad was returned to base with the body.The body is being examined in the lab."This body was bitten on the hand and the infection of the creature's mouth has gained entrance to the lungs of the man." announced the apothcary. "So it seems, the body was eaten or something,right?"Quized Caphias."Actually,he just got bitten for the virus to get inside the body,but it seems the man was not healthy so he just died."

"So,is the threat..." a fast stop by Caphias. "Vampires?

"Well it appears the blood wasn't trying to get sucked,so,apperantly,no."

"Hmm,that serves alot,and Tommy...i wish i had never hurt him,i wish he was back."

"Tommy?" He's gone?" The apothcary asked."Yes,and its my fault!" Caphias blabbered."well,cheer up,Cain." The apothcary flashed."Yeah,thanks for the help." Caphias replied.

 

"Tommy!" Caphias screeched out in the faraway plains at about 3:15 in the early moning dawn.Caphias Cain walked farther up ahead to the place the body lain dead,but when Caphias Cain got there,an encampment was held.everyone seemed still asleep so the commisar checked out the camp.Caphias entered the biggest hut to find big,tough,pit fighting,oversized humans getting armed with flails and blades.Caphias stepped on a broken-off branch and made some noise,the crack attracted the ogres.The ogres roared from all directions and took out enlarged bayonets from there poorly covered shelves near the boss who was chanting the other ogres to fight the Imperial commisar.Caphias Cain ran,ran like the wind to Seeren from all the ogres that woke up."maybe this is the threat" he thought.a couple of kilometers from the gates of the city,the soldiers arised from naps and came out to fight.The battle was gruesome,but in the end, the cadians won the fight.The bodies of the ogryns where examined,blood tests and infection scanning."The ogres' teeth are only filled with germs and some small meat peices,so these orges cant be the creatures were looking for,"the apothcary proclaimed."then i'll just keep looking?"asked Caphias."well,that should help atleast,"the apothcary answered.Looking for more items or anything that could prove useful for the apothcary must be returned immediatly.The Commisar looked further into The massive plains,deeper into the the heart of danger,closer to the death of himself and even closer than ever...the extinction of Seeren.But Caphias kept searching for clues of the killer of the dead man near the plains of his city.Deep breathing,tired,bored,he stood atop a small town filled with laughter and screams.On his radio,speaking to Vinci,an old Vindicare assasin part of the 101`st Corrana grenadiers.

"Aye,Vinci."

"Caphias,is that you?"

"Yup,listen,I have an unlisted town of old straw huts about 10 km North from Seeren,can you come send some units here?"

"What about your men?"

"I cant send them because we`ve been attacked by some ogres a few hours ago,guys gotta guard."

"If you need them that bad,then sure."

A couple of minutes after the call,choppers have laid silent on the soil of the plains.Caphias Cain then started to move into the middle of the town.the soldiers made foxholes around the whole town to secure positions."Okay"whispered Caphias,"breach the house." The guardsmen charged in the houses breaking down the doors and shooting,open targets in the huts."What are you firing at?" yelled the Commisar.just then,ogres bursted its way out of the squadrons."Ogres!"The rage went on,the claddering las killing the overgrown,and the overgrown striking back with brute strength."Their too powerful!" Called out a crew member of a heavy weapon team,"just keep fighting!" Caphias finaly grabed his iron sheathed chainsword and slashed the opposing battalions.Cain was killing the ogres heroicly as the soldiers of the Corrana shot the the ogres down and dirty.

 

Chapter 2:Warnings

The Warpway gate was checked by the 51`st Cadian after the attack on the ogre village to try to find out how there was a villiage of ogres near sereen.the gate had inscriptions written on it, they were kind of strange, a foreign, non human language.Snakes Birds and Dragons were the symbols on the gateway,perhaps they were just drawings but illustration wouldnt suit an ancient portal.As the squad of Cadians went back,they noticed something again.On the ground, was a smal read glow that went far and wide"what's this?" Caphias questioned,no reply.Caphias Cain looked up at his squad,they were still looking at it like they were confused...or hypnotized."guys c'mon" Caphias said"um whats wrong"he questiond again.Caphias shoved a guardsmen to find his reacton,the soldier just sanf to the ground then about a minuit later the soldier got up and walked back to Seree like nothing happedn,like everything was okay.Another thing passed,an oaktree,that wasn't there before when the squad went looking for the warpway gate."Whoa did anyone notice that tree there?"blurted Caphias hoping for a reply or two."Yes,"some one finally answered,and it seemed to be the man Caphias pushed down.

"When did you start talking?" Blurted out Caphias,again

"Huh?"The soldier replied.

"Nevermind"

"okay"

"when did who start talking?" yelled another soldier.

"Nothing,nothing,i was just...confused."

"Okay." They both said back to the squad leader (or Cadian commander.)

 

Back at sereen,it was 9:31 PM,dinner was taking place at the barracks.

"So how was your trip?" asked (sgt) Hike's curiosity.

"my whole squad was hypnotized."

"Oh,okay."

"you don't believe me do you?"

"No,I dont think anyone would."Hikes laughed as he left the barracks to go outside.

Just then,there was a radio call,it was saying something ancient,and unknown...something,foreign.

"The portal!"Caphias Cain whispered in his mind.The jibberish was going on for a few minuites before stopping in a silent tone the seemed to sound like a warning."What was that supposed to be?" Josh,a guardsmen private said outloud.Caphias left the barracks wondering what that was."Could it be a message?" Cain asked himself.Out of all the aliens he faced,nothing talked or sounded like that "This could mean another war." Caphias said to himself in is mind again.

 

Caphias went to the temple and heard something upstairs,he clined the small stairs to a radio room,the radios were jammed with the same kind of jibberish from the barracks,but this time there wer tons of raidos blasting out the non-sense words.The scientists were working like crazy to do something about the message,like trying stop it or translate it to an exsisting language.hours later,Caphias himself was trying to help the scientists and engineers translate the message.it was about 3:00 AM and everyone was exhausted.when the workers thought of giving up and destroying the raidos or something that can stop the rage,the message ended with a beep that was followed by human words.It said:Heave this call imperium, Dishek (whatever that meant) is here,evacuate your city and travel to the planet of Jud...then it repeats for about a thousand more times.

"Jud,wher's that?"Asked Caphias

"no clue." replied a scientist.

"Well,start finding it!"

Caphias walked out of the temple,walked out of the city and walked out of the gates to the wilderness.He thought of all this but seemingly he wandered too far from his city and he smelled something like rotting zombies(yes,yes zombies are already rotted but these ones are "super-rotted?")he checked the sight of where he thinks he smelled it but there was just thin long grasses and smell of corpses began to stop.

"whats that?"Caphias asked him self.He turned around and saw a fugure with an axe...a chainaxe.The dark figure's weapon began to roar and he charged at Caphias but Caphias too pulled out his chainsword and the fight went on at the plains.Finaly,after caphias stood victourios over the character,Caphias Cain examined the dead man.He was wearing a red,blood like coloured robe ,a tatto of a weird shape on his face and crumbled piece of paper in his pocket.Caphias opened the paper and it said "i see you have succeeded on killing this cultist,there are more legions than you think in the world.Now,are you thinking "what legions?"well,the chaos legions of course,khorne wants your blood and skull,while nurgle just wants to decay you!"

Caphias ran back,trying to find Seeren so he can avoid getting killed by the "legion of chaos."

 

Chapter 3:Way Of The Blood God

"But lord,that cultist was about to be blessed by Khorne,proving this imperial commander is powerful!"Whimpered a marine

"It's a human!"Roared the aspiring champion"when did humans have the power to actually kill one of us!"

"Lord the cultist was armed with a chainaxe!"

"To the damn with your commands,cant even kill a man-thing!"

The couldrons were boiling as if something was cooking lava,it glowed in red as the cultists stired and added spices to it to heat it up

"yes,this pot of blood will burn the Cadian to the ground and we will triumph!We will march through that warp gate and slaughter the remaing eldar!"Screamed the aspiring champion in charge.

Out side the temple,berzerkers already marched out to hunt the orcs in the forest as a bloodsport.Very quickly the green skins would be consumed and put into the pot,the warriors of the blood god marched alond the carved pavement path through the woods,chasing and taking down the passive and dangerous wildlife.they got through a long way finding glory in an encampment full of orcs.The silent night became broken by the roars of the chainaxes.Twelve Berzerkers charged about one hundred orcs unexpectedly.Gore and Guts was tremendous in this battle,the super human killers were rampaging across the sluggas with no fear at all.Even the might of the nob leader wasnt strong enough against a chainaxe wielding,crazy,corrupted super human as the orc fell in a pool of red,the berzerker champion ripped out the nob's heart the filled it in a leather pouch.The Khorne berzerkers returned back to their domain causing death to curious orcs and animals traveling to the encampment.

 

All was right again for Caphias,he and his general were talking over about the note and what happend.

"He just came out of nowhere"said Caphias Cain

"I see" replied the general"what about Dishek?What is that?"

"i dunno"said the comissar bordley

after the talk,caphias left the regimental command centre and got a good night's sleep.althought before he rested,he was wondering about the assassin,or the man that was trying to kill him.
