im not sure if this will earn the ire of anyone here, as ive yet to gauge how serious a place this is. if your too cool for school, dont read on. if you find the concept of the fusionist itself amusing, go for it.

 

it came up in conversation the other day what an utterly useless card the fusionist was. so i bet my friend that i could design a deck based around the fusionist that would be capable of functioning decently.

 

heres the general outline, although suggestions are welcome~

 

 

3 mystical sheep #2

3 mystical sheep #1

3 petit angel

1 spirit reaper

1 marshmallon

3 destiny hero defender

1 man-eater bug

 

2 gaia power

2 polymerization

1 future fusion

1 monster reborn

2 level limit area B

2 level limit area A

2 heart of clear water

1 shooting star bow - ceal

 

2 soul resurrection

2 destructive draw

2 gravity binds

3 self-destruct buttons

3 metal reflect slime

 

 

3 fusionist

 

12 traps

13 magic

15 monsters (no tribs)

3 fusion

 

and technically 3 of the traps become monsters

 

 

i guess the basic idea became a combination of attacking directly and.. suicide.

 

essentially i was figuring that the destructive draws and the self destruct buttons would draw it for me, while i shame the opponent by attacking them with the fusionist. for shame.

 

i might be a decent idea, now that i think of it, to include numinous healers and dian ketos and such in order to manipulate by LP better. the area between 1000 and 0 is pretty narrow after all.

 

this plan is still under construction of course. maybe a megamorph or 2 would be a good idea.

its based on the fusionist. thought i made that clear.

 

also, protip: old meme is old.

i thought people were trying to be constructive here. i apologize if i havent memorized the forbidden, limited AND semi-limited lists for monsters, spells, AND traps. maybe you could be nice and tell me where the mistake is so i dont have to sit here and run down every card.

A player who plays the game should have knowledge of the ban list, if you enter the tournement with a illegal deck you will recieve a match loss. Not memorising the ban list is not an excuse, it is sheer laziness on the deck builders behalf. On the deck, i cannot see where the win is going to come from, you have no monsters over 1500 atk thus it is basically impossible for victory to be achieved

Seems like an... interesting deck...

 

The only problem with it that I can see is that you have 1 to many Level Limit Area Bs...

 

seems kinda fun though... has the potential to be quite annoying.. reminds me of the first version of my ultimate Defense deck (it was pretty much impossible to win with... still, it annoyed the hell out of my friends which proved to be very entertaining XD)

i was hoping the self destruct buttons could ensure a draw.

the basic design would be to disarm the seriousness of any such duel by expending alot of effort trying to get out such a ridiculous card as the fusionist. imagine the combination of gaia power, heart of clearwater, shooting starbow ceal, both level limits, and the fusionist :P

tis ridiculous to attack directly with 400 repeatedly.

 

thats an obscure combo i would never get, obviously, but meh.

 

after the duel is silly and the person simply believes theyre going to win

whoops, self destruct button

 

id get a good laugh out of the look on their face when they realize the match is a draw and there is nothing they can do about it. :P

i know. thats part of the fun of it!

 

theres no way in hell i could win that way! but every time i attack someone directly with the fusionist, its just epic shame.

i once dealt over 4000 damage in one match with a single man-eater bug.

even if i had lost that match, i would walk away feeling content.

and with level limits in play, depending on how i manipulate the fusionist's attack, i could keep a monopoly of low level monsters on the field

perhaps the deck should include sonic duck and hunter dragon? level 3 monsters with 17 attack.

theyd work well with gaia power and the level limits and binds

My friend has similar logic to yours with his uber banned spell/trap deck...

 

Wall of revealing light+self destruct button=he wins...

 

according to his logic anyways...

*sighs* I must admit, it is fun when you pull off a self destruct button on your second turn (I've used his deck a few times... it's pretty fun when you use it... )

 

And I don't believe you can chain numinous healer to self destruct button...

self destruct's activation condition would be fulfilled, then numinous healer would chain

so numinous healer would increase your lifepoints, and completely resolve, then self destruct's effect would resolve, making your lifepoints 0 anyways.

 

or, numinous might negate the original activation condition of self-destruct, negating its effect.

... I think I'm getting a bit tired, cause that post confused me a little -_-

 

*thinks* If you were to chain numinous healer to the activation of self destruct button's effect, then numinous healer would activate first since it's at the end of the chain, then self destruct button would activate... I think...

 

and I don't believe you can activate anything once a player's life points hits zero...
