Negative Reps?

and is there anyway possible to limit the amount of negative reps, you can give to a person in one day, to 1?

 

becuase, whats the point of giving someone 4 negs?

 

1) it will make it easier on the mods to clear them up.

2) more negs, isnt going to help the situation

 

so, yeah, its just a question

and im not "leading" anyone, ...

 

but yeah, is it possible? and is it a good idea? o.0

Giving multiple negs is a bad idea, you can do it, but it's considered rep spamming and is very unjust. Giving any negs is a bad idea. I don't give them. Ya gotta heal, not hurt.

 

I fully support putting a limit of 1 per day on them or removing neg reps completely. They aren't helpful. Limiting them would be a good idea, giving them would not.

If someone is giving someone an unnecessary amount of neg reps, then chances are that their reps will be removed, and they will be put in the rep spammers group

In some cases, though not often, there can be a reason for giving multiple neg reps in one day

But 1 neg rep a day sounds a little bit extreme

thats 6 reps either all pos, all negs, or anything in between.

i spend my reps negging people who break major rules, or spam knowingly

i usual give 3 of each if i can.

That is different, but like I said, on rare occasions, such as if the same person repeats the same thing in the same day, then they might deserve another neg rep

Neg Reps serve no real purpose anyhow, since anyone can just whine in the Rep Complaint Thread and get them all removed, regardless of whether or not they were deserved.
