Yu-Gi-Oh! AR

This is my attempts at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fic and will be adding (maybe slightly controversially) a few elements of Duel Masters and Magic the Gathering into a world of my own and hopefully I will make a story and write duels that you all enjoy. Now this is just a prologue to the 1st season, just to give you a taste of the writing style (sorry no real duel to speak of). However if you like the prologue, then I will write the 1st season for your reading pleasure. Thank You for taking the time to read this.

Prologue

--------The traffic at the box junction was at an absolute stand still in the neon-lit, vibrant, Manhattan-esc city as three duellists all stood in the box (equal distance apart) with duel disks active. In front of the duellist on the left side of the box was a huge purple and blue demon with a black aura around him, in front of the duellist on the right was a huge, glowing, golden armoured angel with a golden aura (similar to the demon’s black aura), and the in front of the third duellist was a huge bird coloured similarly to the Rainbow Dragon with a rainbow aura surrounding it. All three duellist stared each other down, as did their monsters; each monster simultaneously let out a vicious cry at the others, and those cries echoed down the streets of the city for miles in all direction, getting stronger and stronger the further away from the epicentre of the screech. All the people from the vehicles on the streets, and all the people on the side walks could do nothing but stare at the magic the three duellists were showcasing in a bid to outdo the other two. “These three are insane! How can they be this powerful?” asked a female spectator was among a small group of other duellists who were watching the duel from atop of a convenient store’s roof that is right on the corner of the box junction. At the front of this group were two duellist; the male had silvery blue hair and was staring down at the duellists calmly and to his right was a shorter female full white robes and looking just as calmly at the duellists. “So... Is it over?” the man asked her calmly as he closed his eyes. She didn’t answer him at first, she just continued to watch as the energy from the monsters on the field in this epic 3 way duel continued to grow and the beasts continued to attempt to psyche the other 2 out with their cries. “It’ll be over soon” she suddenly said, as she grabbed the guy’s hand with hers’ and squeezed tightly “But when this duel ends... none of us will ever be the same after it” she continued ominously, causing the icy cold man to look down at her concerned.

--------The three duellists continue to stared at each other, but suddenly the duellist on the left side thrusted his hand forward with a sinister smile on his and as he did the huge demon began to charge up purple power between his hands. After a few more moments the demon thrusted his hands forward and launched the orb straight at the bird off to the side. As the orb flew across the air at the bird, the orbs on the bird’s wings began to glow each of the 7 colours, then the bird charged up a rainbow-coloured orb just in front of its beak and launched the orb back at the demon, with the two orbs were on an intercept course with each other. However just then the armoured angel’s metallic wings began to glow and an orb was formed in between his hands; no one knew why the monster was attacking until they looked over and saw the man behind had flipped a card face up. After that orb was charged up the angel launched the orb in an intercept course at the other two orbs, and as they reached closer and closer the duel area began to shimmer, as if the dimensional walls were being torn apart by the ferocity of these three monumental attacks. The three attacks struck each other with vicious force and caused a massive explosion and a huge gust of air that would rival gale force winds produced by Tornados. All the spectators in the area were fighting the forces applied on them by this duel; “This is it!” the female shouted “This is the end of the duel” she continued to shout while hanging on the silver haired man’s arm so she is not flung away by the wind. The man on the other hand seems unaffected by the winds and is standing perfectly upright effortlessly “So, did you win it... champ?” he thought calmly as he shielded his eyes from the light emitted off the attack. The duel area was surrounded in a rainbow coloured sphere of energy that was tinted either lighter or darker in certain areas as the three attacks continued to mix together and emit powerful waves of energy. Eventually the orb began to die down and dust slowly began to dissipate yet no one could see inside to see the result of the duel. All the spectators were on edge, wondering who had come out of the duel the victor. They could all agree whoever won this duel deserved to win it, but they still had their own choices on who they wanted to win. But as the smoke cleared what they saw next was incomprehendible, but what it was was exactly what they all wanted to see. And they crowd that gathered went wild with excitement...

OMG THE SUSPENSE.

I'd space it out better, and describe the monsters/cries better, but that's really it. Plotwise, it's genius.

I'm finally going to get around to writing this Fan Fic, so I'm Bumping this so people can remember this. There will be a new name to it, so NG is replaced with AR. Thank you for the comments so far - helpful as I'm learning how to write compelling stories professionally now - and I hope more will read this and comment too.

Hopefully I can write this and do so at a consistant rate, because I think this is good and could be very entertaining for you to read. Note - I feel I should point this out: This "prologue" is not where I'll be picking up the story from, but where I intend the story to go.
