Davok
Greetings, everyone at YCM. If anyone doesn't know, I have a practical expertise on the field of Spiritology, studying and recording information on many different types of Banished Monsters. (also called Ghosts, Spirits, Apparitions, White Ladies, Ghouls, Abominations) This particular type of Undead are very unique, since they are both of this Realm and the Other Realm. I have decided to share with YCM my expertise on this particular `science'. PROLOGUE One of the most terrifying and interesting species of ghost is the Fear Ghost. These creatures are relatively harmless, or they can be extremely deadly. They basically feed off fear. They have the power to instill extreme fear in a human depending on the particular doubt or belief. The stronger the thoughts and beliefs the victim has of the particular Fear Ghost, the stronger the fear becomes. Fear Ghosts feed off of this fear, and turns it into a type of `energy' that they can digest. Thus, the more you believe in the creature, the more fear you radiate. Fear Ghosts, as all Monsters, can be separated in Levels. A Low Level means relatively harmless and their victims are more likely to just have nightmares. A Medium Level is moderately dangerous, and could end up having a victim pass out, have terrible nightmares for the next three days, and be very jumpy the rest of his life. But, High Levels are the ones you should be really worrying about. They often put their victims in a coma, if their lucky. In most cases the victims had a heart attack, committed suicide, or simply died of fear. These creatures you must be extremely cautious, since they appear most frequently in Urban myth and Legend. Beware, because the path of the Spiritologist is riddle with tragedy and fear. Also, High Level Fear Ghosts are very rare. But still, keep up your guard... it's your only hope of surviving.
