CrabHelmet
well i might regret this' date=' but lets hear why you think it deserves a ban? cause in my opinion there is only 1 type of deck that would run this card.[/quote'] This card speeds up any deck that splashes it in - if you honestly think that mill (or Dark World or Burn or whatever you were thinking of) is the only thing that would use it, you're wrong - and punishes good play (i.e. maintaining advantage) while rewarding bad play (i.e. overextending). It's a reset button for the hand. It can effortlessly generate theoretically limitless advantage.

Death7ofsb
-_- i regret it. never the less, its already on the limited list, resets your opponents hand as well, and is a stupid flip. i say its good where it is.

Skuldur
hmm why is this banworthy Here's an example Your opponent has been dominating the duel has 5-6 cards in his hands you have 0 cards in your hand you draw Morphing jar and set him. Next turn your opponent attacks and boom bye bye the cards in his hand(He draws 5 new cards) and you get 5 free cards banworthy i think so also use this card in darkworld and discard goldd and/or silva with his effect then you get a fresh hand and 1-3 or 4 monsters out and if you have broww then it's more cards in hand This and probably more is why Morphing jar is banworthy
CrabHelmet
Where Konami has placed it is irrelevant. Konami lives to demonstrate its stupidity. The fact that it resets the opponent's hand as well is half the problem. That's why it can generate more and more advantage depending on the opponent's play; if it only reset your hand, it could not exceed a +5. In fact, the better the opponent is playing, the more it rewards you. Flips become stronger in a better format, where the field-nukers are banned, NoC is at 0, and we've left this stupid Hyper-Aggro format that we've essentially been stuck in since Cyber Dragon was released. Pretending that it's out to get us is stupid. We should use it to our advantage. oh! Nonsense. In a slower format with this legal, it reaches staple-like levels of power. Pretending that it's out to get us is stupid. We should use it to our advantage. oh! That great that we agree on that Go to your sig. Find my quote in it. Read it aloud to yourself. Several times. skuldude' date=' read what i said again and read what you wrote, cause i think your missunderstood me[/quote'] Yeah, what you meant was that everyone should be forced to use up space in their deck or side deck on random Dark World monsters because somebody might use this. Last time I checked, D.D. Crow doesn't make Sinister Serpent any less banworthy.
Death7ofsb
bite me, im done in this discu-...arguement. sigh... i guess you cant teach a old dog new tricks...or teach a bad duelist that not every FRIGGIN card on the limited lists belong on the bann list. Out of the 56 cards that Konami has currently Limited, only 18 actually deserve to be banned. That's less than one-third. Also, I have given a cohesive argument for why Morphing Jar is bad for the game. You basically just said "LOL DEAL WITH IT!!!!1!".

Cyber Jar: FLIP: Dark Hole. Draw 5 cards. Ultimate Offering. The problem is that it DOESN'T give both players the same advantage. It gives more advantage to the player who is playing worse (and therefore has less hand advantage), and gives virtually no advantage to the player who has been playing well (and therefore has a large hand). It punishes good play.

Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Broken. Play badly, get advantage; this card is the n00b savior. This should be banned for a similar reason as Dice Jar should be banned.
