Anti-DAD/JD Contest (Finished)

Phantom Roxas

Recommended Posts

I'm hosting a contest for cards that are strong enough to beat both Dark Armed Dragon and Judgement Dragon, however, it can't be a Dark or Light monster. You must create a single monster, but you can add an Archetype based around it, like how the Lightsworns are for Judgement Dragon.

You will graded on:

Pic(s)

Effect(s) (While it's meant to stop DAD and JD, it still can't be CED-EOTE overpowered)

OCG/Grammar

Rewards:

1. 3 Reps

2. 2 Reps

3. 1 Rep

Contest ends...July 10th.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand, Deck, Graveyard, or while it is removed from play when your opponent destroys 3 or more of your cards in the same turn with the effect of a "Dark Armed Dragon" he/she controls. When this card is Special Sumoned, Destroy all "Dark Armed Dragons" on the field and remove them from play. Negate the effects of all DARK monsters on the field and in the Graveyard.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card only be Special Summoned by removing from play 4 Dragon-Type monsters in your Graveyard. When your opponent Summons a monster you can remove from play one Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard to negated the Summon and Destroy that monster. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon one removed from play Dragon-Type monster to your side of the field.

I'm fixing the attribute' date=' because I missed the part about the ruling.

That's perfect OCG that would come out of UDE, what are you talking about?

Perhaps I should explain how this card works...

DAD/JD are all Dragon-Type, so you'd negate by discarding this. If you have this in your hand, you're pretty much all set, because by discarding this to negate the first dragon, and you grab another one to negate the next one, and so on. There isn't too much worry about losing this from your hand either, because it replaces itself no matter how it gets tossed, even if by its own effect. That means you can get more even if your opponent pulls it out of your hand with Thestalos or Spirit Reaper. This card's Warrior-Type status and low ATK/DEF makes it very splash-able; it's extremely easy to fetch, with the likes of Reinforcement of the Army or Sangan. This card can also serve as a replenishing discard source, much like Thunder Dragon, which means it won't be useless even if you're not up against DAD/JD. The practicality of this card extends to Traditional Format and OCG as well, allowing you counter the likes of CED, Gandora, or Black Rose.

tl;dr:

1. Practical - Counters EVERY monster with field-nuking capabilities. (Within my knowledge, of course.)

2. Versatile - Can be used as a perfect counter OR as a discard source.

3. Splashable - Easy to fetch, easy to use.
