Would you really want your opponent to run 3, or even 2 of them? What if they were all on the field at the same time? 3 monsters a turn for your opponent. You destroy 1, you get a full monster card field. I'm not sure if this is a very concrete example. However, if this thread says it should be banned, I can believe in that too. Having Torrential at 3 doesn't do much to decks that don't mindlessly swarm, and, as such, being at 3 hurts those decks that do. Anything that is mindless is inherently bad for the game. Your idea of posting a "YVD help" thread and then linking to that thread doesn't even make sense in a roundabout way. Sangan is banworthy because it's generic searching. Having 1500 or less ATK really isn't that big of a drawback. Now, if it searched for Fiend-Type monsters with 1500 or less ATK or something like that, it would be more balanced. Also, I believe someone once said that it being banned would encourage people to run more monsters with 1501 or more ATK, but I personally think that that reasoning is jank.
