Questions of the tricky

My first question:

A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms: The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

that's right. Now second:

If it takes twenty minutes to hard-boil one goose egg, how long will

it take to hard-boil four goose eggs?

Usually, when I look at the back of a package, it says "Add 45 seconds for each extra piece you put".

 

In this case, I would say it's 80 min. But that would be wrong. So I'm assuming there's an initial 20 minutes already for 1 goose egg. Then, there are 3 extra ones which probably will need a little more time. I'll say each extra egg takes another 5 minutes. That brings it up to 35 minutes total. Did I do it right?

Um, it would still take 20 minutes since most people can hard-boil more than one egg at once :P

still 20 minutes but if they dont hard boil them all at once then 80 minutes or if they hard boil 2 at a time then 40 minutes
