The Ruby Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 [align=center]I know that Dimension Lord has just opened the "Apprentice" Contests, but i've been itching to open my first contestsince my recent disappearance. This Contest is based off of the show, "The Gauntlet" which is also a "Teams" Contest, where the Veterans face against the newcomers, but since there hasn't been a recent "Gauntlet" I will either pick teams, or have a Team leader pick teamates. I will be your Host, "God Splice" *~*Requirement For Entry*~*(I would prefer Good Cardmakers, so like DL, I will automatically allow 4-Star members in but I need 3-Under's to PM me a card) *Team Leaders will be chosen by me. I will chose, who I believe has the greatest experience. *~*Basic Game-Play*~* *The game will start with 2 teams. Each Teams will start with match, where the whole team produces a card. The winning Team gets Special Contest Benefits. *The winning Team will also choose one person from the other team, and the team will also pick someone from their team, and the two from that one team will face eachother in a 1 on 1 duel. The winner stays, and loser leaves the Gauntlet. *This will happen until one team has completely been taken out. The remaining team will face eachother being eliminated until one person is left. *Teamates will be switched around throughout the teams through the tournament. This period, is called the "Draft". *After each match between teams. The winning teams will recieve a prize each, while the loosing team will be forced to face (2 of the selected members) in a duel, loser leaves the Gauntlet. *There will be a rubric for grading of the cards for each match. *People sent into Elimination, will have to choose from a set of numbers which corresponds to a certain Contest type, which they will be forced into. *~*The Finals*~* *When there are only 4 people left, the four will be put into one more Gauntlet Match for the grand Prize. *The Finals Does have a major twist, most of the competitors wont like... *~*Grand Prize*~* 1000 Points6 REPs*Secret Prize*Automatic Entry in the next contest Finals*Secret Prize* *~*Runner Ups*~* 200 Points a Piece *There will be minor Prizes for the winners of the Matches between teams aswell* *Stay tuned for updated rules, and Matches*[/align] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
