great tutorial but im a noob so how do you scratch the arms

Use the pencil tool I suppose is the best way to describe it. It's not something I can really teach or anything, and it takes a good amount of practice generally.

all my sprites are blurry when i enlarge them and if i dont they are to small like this

Daes, it's probably a source issue. Make sure where you're getting the sprites from is good. Spriters-Resource is my pick, but there are others that people do use.

WOW BEST SPLICING TUT EVER

Mhmm, I got a random recolour sprite before I saw this tut, It's a yellow Luvdisc, Sneasle, Metang, It was just random I made when recolouring a whole HOENN pokemon sprite sheet.

I'm not going to go into much detail, but I can say I don't like it. The arm has blue borders. The arm and body don't match. The singular arm look is weird. Also in general I'm not a fan of the palette.

There are still some things you could do to help them. The parts your attached aren't very smooth. Not to mention you have some parts with bad cut off. Nothing quite forms well together.

 

Shrink your Canvas: The size of your canvas is too large. There is a bunch of white space in your image there, it's best to shrink it. Saves both file room and looks neater. Assuming you worked in MS Paint, you can fix this. Place your splice in the upper left corner of the white area. Then on the bottom right of the screen you'll be able to find a small gray box. Click and drag it to change the canvas size.
