GenzoTheHarpist
This is from my experience a decent deck, but I would definately like to improve it. Tekken Ham
If it's MM, actually run MM. Monsters[19]: 3xThestalos3xCaius1xRaiza2xCyber Dragon3xD.D. Scout Plane3xD.D. GenzoTheHarpist
This is MM. You added some different cards (that do not have macro-based effects) that do not make the deck any more Macro. Thank you for your deck suggestion.
CalluW
however, both MM decks listed above have 2 D. Fissures and 3 Macro Cosmos,FLIP THE NUMBERS PEOPLE!!!
GenzoTheHarpist
Care to give a reason? Macro seems more useful.
Tekken Ham
I usually run 3 Macro 2 DFissure unless I need speed, so keep it. It's much more useful. Also, my point was you were mixing in Soul Control and the Apprentice Engine with MM. Run MM.
GenzoTheHarpist
Okay I understand your point, i'll ditch apprentice (was planning on doing it one of these days anyway) and soul exchange. What should I add (outside of Raiza?)
CalluW
my reasoning behind running 3 D. Fissures and 2 macro is because:MACRO IS A TRAPD. Fissure can be activated straight from the hand, Macro can'tD. Fissure is purely for speed, which is what you should aim to do
GenzoTheHarpist
Yes because we should all use weak magics instead of useful traps. By this logic why should anyone include any traps at all?
Tekken Ham
Ignore him, unless you need speed run 3 Macro. Also, look at the list I posted.
CalluW
ok, what is your reasoning behind D.Fissure being a weak magic card?
GenzoTheHarpist
It's effect is weaker then Macro, only removes monsters.
Tekken Ham
Because speed isn't necessary in Monarchs, we are talking about Monarchs right? Monarchs are inherently slow but you're jabroniing about speed... Learn2playMMpl0x. I don't care what anybody says, if you want a card that's a little faster in a slow control deck, why does it goddamn matter. You have lost your arrogance card validity, redeem yourself, you have 10 minutes, Go.
Guest
uh take it from the guy that actually runs MM *well til i get my new deck, in less then 2 weeks* 3 D.Fissure 2 Macro for speed
Tekken Ham
You sure need speed in a slow control deck. Maybe in a turbo like mine, but we are talking about regular MM here guys, I mean come on. Who else is a respectable MM vet here but me?
GenzoTheHarpist
So anyway, back to suggestions. Preferably ones that have nothing to do with the DFissure/Macro ratio.

GenzoTheHarpist
OMG, did it ever occur to you that maybe I don't have the cards for that deck? Like how I said multiple times "I'm trying to get a Raiza but don't have one, so don't bother suggesting it." Mobius and Jinzo are my best replacement for Raiza (which I don't have.) Only one Cyber Dragon, so I played on instead of two (will get another as soon as possible though.) The Fools sub for Marshmallon since they have very similar effects. Other then that, I do have the cards and will try and institute your suggestions. What purpose do the exiled forces serve?
CalluW
i am just telling you a basic build for MM decks...
「tea.leaf」
Try adding Cyber Valley, you get great power with your Survivor/Scouts. Definitely play them if you can get your hands on them. Take out D.D.R., since there's not much of a need for you to brink back monsters. I'm really surprised that Return isn't in here. After the game gets started for a bit, this becomes a really good winning condition, since your monarchs would be piling up. Also, Jinzo in a MACRO deck just doesn't seem to make much sense... EDIT: Some of you guys might hate me for this, but try playing a few Zaborgs. Coupled with Macro, he functions essentially like Caius, except limited to monsters. GenzoTheHarpist
Jinzo has no synergy I agree but he is good at shutting the enemy down and if you have DFissure you can use the Survivors/scout planes anyway. However I understand he inconveniences me and i'll be ditching him for Raiza as soon as I get one. As for Cyber Valleys, I actually was trying to get those (and failing.) What card do you mean by Return? Return from the different dimension?
「tea.leaf」
Yup. And very good with Exiled Force, if you play it.
