You make a list of cards that are overpowered and you don't include Yata-Garasu?

Out of all the reasons to criticize that list' date=' those were the two that sprung to your mind?

 

I'm not quite sure... If I say a card, it'll probably be wrong.

DaD is not OP or broken' date=' just good, DaD return was crippled in the mid-format change. It's still running strong, just not, "Your dead for not running DaD" strong. Besides a DaD deck's effectiveness can fluctuate depending on the cards in it.

I see no reason why that would be my cue, especially considering that Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End is probably the most overpowered card in the game.

 

Dark Armed Dragon' date=' Judgment Dragon, Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, Yata-Garasu. I will give one or more reasons for each.

 

Dark Armed Dragon - Not Ban Worthy (Summoning Conditions are somewhat strict, limiting of vital cards such as Allure of Darkness and Return From the Different Dimension and banning of Dimension Fusion)

-Easy to summon with help from Dark Grepher, Prometheus etc.

-Powerful effect.

 

Judgment Dragon - Ban Worthy (Rather easy to summon and you get Demise's effect for half the cost)

-Rather easy to summon.

-Overpowered effect.

 

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning (Should stay banned)

-Extremely easy to summon with help from Graceful Charity.

-Somewhat broken effects.

 

Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End (Should stay banned)

-Basically the same reasons as BLS - EotB

 

Yata-Garasu (Should stay banned)

-Lockdown effect in the form of one card.

-Easy to pull of the lock.

The thing that fails is that no one has mentioned exchange of spirit

Bleh.

 

I don't think it's the 'most overpowered card', it's just a card with a ridiculous effect and it also happens to be the ace card in the best FTK possible with the cards released right now and would sure be the ace cards in a bunch of other OTKs.

 

But it's not better than Yata in most mid-games.

 

It should, however, be on lists that list BLS-EOTB.

Now that somebody mentioned Dark Hole, that got me thinking. I read somewhere on this forum that Dark Hole could generate as much advantage as Raigeki, or something along those lines. However I'm not sure how that can be, and I'm assuming the author wasn't simply thinking of Dark Hole being a Raigeki when you have no field. Unless you blow up a Sangan (which I believe has become too slow for this meta?), how can you take as much advantage from a Dark Hole as from Raigeki?
