Counter Trap

Can be activated from your hand. If a Level/Rank 11 monster you control would be Destroyed by battle or removed from the field by an opponent’s card effect: Tribute it instead; Special Summon 1 “World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy” from your Extra Deck or GY (this is treated as a Link Summon), and if you do, you can add 1 “Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth”, “Tierra, Source of Destruction”, or “Avida, Rebuilder of Worlds” from your Deck, GY or Banishment to your hand. If this card was Set before activation and is on the field at resolution, you can add 1 “World Legacy” card from your Deck , GY or Banishment to your hand.

 

The idea came up from looking at the artwork for “World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy” and realizing that the monster is basically the repurposed remains of “Tierra, Source of Destruction”... Implying that the Duel Terminal and World Legacy settings are one and the same. So the idea is that if ANY Level/Rank 11 monster you control would be removed from the field through your  opponent’s input, you can use this card to “Link Summon” (through card effect) the World Gears, and then search out one of the 3 “Start God” monsters. It can be activated from your hand for expediency’s sake, OR, if it’s been set and resolves on the field, it can also search out any 1 “World Legacy” card from almost anywhere.
