Old Skool Contest

This is officially my second contest, this little idea was brought about by a card I saw made by someone, it was called "Alchemist In-Training" it sort of reminded me of things like "Apprentice Magician", and things like that. Now I will simply get down to the point, this contest is simply about making a card, or cards based around an old set or type of cards. There will be a list below of the options available, it is upto you to decide which you would like to do, and then work your way from there.

 

Okay then, well I am gonna be honest with you guys, if your gonna turn around and pull these sad excuses you call "Cards" then just leave. This contest is for serious cards, no broken cards, however give this a try anyway because it's always nice to see what you guys come up with. With that being said, here is a list of themes you can base your entries around.

 

1 ) Amazoness/Amazons

2 ) Light Attributes

3 ) Alchemy

4 ) Spellcasters

5 ) Machines

6 ) Fairies

7 ) Zombies

8 ) Roids

9 ) Wild Creatures/Animals/Mythical Creatures

10 ) Other(If there isn't anything above you fancy, you may do something you want to try, as long as it's not something recent, but please state what you are doing if you do this.)

 

Okay, as far as the rules go, you must follow these rules:

1 ) All cards must be your creations, do not go and steal other people's cards.

2 ) Make sure all cards you make are realistic and that they are cards that could be in the TCG.

3 ) You can make any kind of card, weather it be a Ritual Monster or a Field Spell, anything will do.

4 ) Try and have fun, don't rush things, you have plenty of time to complete this contest.

5 ) All other rules on most contests apply here as well, so keep that in mind.

 

Finally...I haven't decided on the rewards and such for completion of entries and for winning, however I will update this post when that has been decided!

Anything from before GX started I would consider older. However I allowed Roids because they haven't been getting much supportiveness lately. If you want me to be really specific, cards that hardly ever get touched apon, that people no longer ever bother about anymore. That doesn't include E-Heroes, Cyber Dragons, or Destiny Heroes. Because these have been touched on a lot lately. Even Asuka's Cyber Lady cards would work, same with most cards from the original YGO series. Aside from a few of the cards that I assume would be obvious.

 

A few more examples of cards you could do are say... Armor Cards, Legendary Dragon Fusions, Guardians, "Alistairs's Cards", you know anything that has hardly anything on it's back, or is just not used at all.

Hi all, ok so here is my entries, I didnt know if there was a limmit, so im only going to enter 3.

 

My first entry is about the best warrior in the game, Celtic Guardian

 

 

If you cant read the effect, allow me to post it for you.

 

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to your "Celtic Guardian" OR "Obnoxious Celtic Guard" as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card’s effect, increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 500 points. When the equiped monster destroy an opponents monster as a result of battle and sends it to the grave yard you can special summon one "Gaia The Fierce Knight" from your deck. All "Gaia The Fierce Knight's" special summoned by this effect is returned to the deck at the end of the battle phase.(1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)
