Andrés Rodríguez
Hello, everybody! This is my first time at creating custom cards and I really wanted to create something for my favorite archetype of all time: Ice Barrier. Please let me know if these cards are overpowered and if so, how would you make them more balanced? I will explain how I would use every card. Thanks a lot. Basically, after the events in "Duel Terminal", the Ice Barrier tribe decided to create their own dragons which protect the entire Ice Barrier nation. To help them breed and raise the dragons properly, they hired Jaxx, Tamer of the Ice Barrier: Jaxx, Tamer of the Ice Barrier: 1° Effect -> MirrorMage -> Start plays. 2° Effect -> Freezing Chains or Winds Over. Zonix, Green Dragonling of the Ice Barrier: 1° Effect -> Winds Over -> Next Turn Add "Revealer", "Hexa" or "Jaxx" if you didn't banish it with Zonix's effect. 2° Effect -> Resolves as "Freezing Chains" or "Winds Over". Zonix, Nightmare Dragon of the Ice Barrier: 1° Effect: Going Turn 1, you can really screw your opponent's strategy, unless they're playing Yubel or Kashtira or Branded. At least you could get rid of annoying monsters like " Thunder Dragon Colossus" before they make it to the field. Odix, Golden Dragonling of the Ice Barrier: 1° Effect -> "Mirror Mage" or "Speaker". 2° Effect -> Resolves as "Georgius", "Wayne", or any Synchro "Ice Barrier" Dragon when they are SS. It might be limited to 1. Odix, Tenacious Dragon of the Ice Barrier: Since the ED would be very tight, you can use this effect to SS Gymir Agerinie for protection or Dragite to have a S/T card negation. Pandix, Red Dragonling of the Ice Barrier: 2° Effect: Lancea -> SS any "Ice Barrier" Synchro monster. 2° Effect: "Mirror Mage". Pandix, Prowler of the Ice Barrier: 1° Effect: The same effect Slifer has, it can be useful and yet not too powerful since it only affects monsters your opponent CURRENTLY control. 2° Effect: Recycling effects are always useful. So, that's it. These were my ideas for a new Ice Barrier support. The archetype is still weak to trap cards and its biggest nemesis is Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman.
