delibirdite
Deed Poll Equip Spell Activate 1 of these effects; ● Banish 1 Monster from your deck face-down: equip this card to a Monster on the field. The equipped Monster's original name becomes the Banished Monster's original name. ● If this card is in the GY; You can Banish 1 Monster from your deck face-down: equip this card to a Monster on the field. The equipped Monster's original name becomes the Banished Monster's original name. You can only activate each effect of "Deed Poll" once per turn. I vote that more unique effects should be implemented. I originally wanted to design a card for the Valkyrie archetype. Their unique card, Mischief of the Time Goddess, allows them to essentially make 2 battle phases but only if you only control Valkyrie monsters. This would allow the Valkyries to play other non-Valkyrie cards and still allow them to use Mischief. Also, their strongest monster allows you to send a spell or trap you control to the GY to summon itself. So I feel it's pretty obvious why I gave Deed Poll the GY effect, too. After thinking about it for a while, this card would easily allow unrelated archetypes to mix. I imagine a lot more link-1's would find use if you could turn a good non-engine card into, say, a Sky Striker, or a Zoodiac, even. Additionally, it could be great to use with discard decks and, in MD, grass is greener decks. Current meta decks (Fiendsmith, Ryzeal, Maliss, etc.) would definitely be able to utilise this. I felt it was best to make the cost specifically face-down banishing, as it is significantly harder to recover a face-down banished card. Regular face-up banishing at this point doesn't really feel like a cost anymore. (I have no clue why the equip symbol is overlapping with the text. Also, just to be clear, the image is supposed to be a signature.) Edited March 20 by delibirdite Word Count Increase
