Idea for a shogi-based archetype - feedback please

Hi, new user here. Planning to write an original (Yu-Gi-Oh! based, of course) story where the characters have decently usable decks, and decided to make a custom archetype for one of them. Not sure if I should put this in Realistic Cards, so decided it'd be safer to just put it here. Also no images because I don't have any art. Please give feedback.

Komajade

Monsters

Main Deck

Komajade Kyosha (Rock/EARTH/L4/Effect/Pendulum[1/1]/ATK1700/DEF1600)

[Pendulum Effect]

Your opponent cannot activate effects in response to the Pendulum Summons of your "Komajade" Pendulum Monsters.

[Monster Effect]

If this card battles a monster in the same column: Change that monster to face-up Defense Position, and if you do, inflict piercing battle damage.

Komajade Kakugyo (Rock/EARTH/L4/Effect/Pendulum[3/3]/ATK2000/DEF1500)

[Pendulum Effect]

Your opponent cannot activate effects in response to the Pendulum Summons of your "Komajade" Pendulum Monsters.

[Monster Effect]

You can Tribute this card and one other "Komajade" monster from either field, and if you do, Special Summon one "NariKomajade Ryu-Ma" from your Extra Deck. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you use this effect.

Komajade Keima (Rock/EARTH/L6/Effect/Pendulum[7/7]/ATK1800/DEF1400)

[Pendulum Effect]

Pendulum Summons of your "Komajade" Pendulum Monsters cannot be negated.

[Monster Effect]

If this card battles, you can activate one of the following effects:

  • Target one monster in a column adjacent to this card's: reduce its DEF to 0.
  • Target one Spell/Trap in a column adjacent to this card's: Destroy it.

You can only use each effect of "Komajade Keima" once per turn.

Komajade Hisha (Rock/EARTH/L6/Effect/Pendulum[5/5]/ATK2100/DEF1600)

[Pendulum Effect]

Pendulum Summons of your "Komajade" Pendulum Monsters cannot be negated.

[Monster Effect]

You can Tribute this card and one other "Komajade" monster from either field, and if you do, Special Summon one "NariKomajade Ryu-Oh" from your Extra Deck. You cannot Normal Summon the turn you use this effect.

Extra Deck

Komajade Ginsho (Rock/EARTH/LINK5[↙↖↑↗↘]/ATK1800)

3+ "Komajade" monsters

You cannot Link Summon to any Extra Monster Zone this card points to. If this card is co-linked, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Gains 200 ATK for every "Komajade" monster it points to.

Komajade Kinsho (Rock/EARTH/LINK6[←↖↑↗→↓]/ATK1500)

3+ "Komajade" monsters

You cannot Link Summon to any Extra Monster Zone this card points to. Gains 100 ATK for every card in your Extra Deck. If this card is co-linked, this card cannot be destroyed by battle.

NariKomajade Ryu-Oh (Dragon/EARTH/LINK6[←↑→↘↓↙]/ATK2700)

3+ "Komajade" monsters, including "Komajade Hisha"

You can only control one "NariKomajade Ryu-Oh." Gains 100 ATK for each "Komajade" monster you control. Your opponent can only target cards you control that a Link Monster points to for attacks or card effects. This card can attack all monsters a Link Monster you control points to, once each.

NariKomajade Ryu-Ma (Dragon/EARTH/LINK6[↖↑↗↘↓↙]/ATK2300)

3+ "Komajade" monsters, including "Komajade Kakugyo"

You cannot Link Summon to any Extra Monster Zone this card points to. You can only control one "NariKomajade Ryu-Ma." Your opponent's monsters that this card points to have their ATK/DEF halved. If this card is co-linked, it cannot be destroyed by battle.

NariKomajade Tokin (Rock/EARTH/LINK6[←↖↑↗→↓]/ATK2400)

3+ "Komajade" monsters, including a non-Link monster

You cannot Link Summon to any Extra Monster Zone this card points to. This card can only attack if it is in an Extra Monster Zone. "Komajade" monsters that point to this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card battles: Target one "Komajade" card in your GY: shuffle it into the Deck.

Spells

Komajade Board (Field)

You can Special Summon one Rock monster from either GY, or one face-up Rock monster from either Extra Deck, onto either field. (Quick Effect): Switch the positions of two of your "Komajade" monsters you control, then, if one of them was targeted for an attack, change the attack target to the other one. The first time each co-linked monster you control would be destroyed, it is not destroyed. You can only use each effect of "Komajade Board" once per turn.

Komajade Narabu (Normal)

Target one "Komajade" card in your Deck or GY, except "Komajade Narabu": Add it to your hand, or if it is a monster, you can Special Summon it instead.

Komajade Toss (Normal)

Roll a die, then you can Normal Summon "Komajade Tokens" (Rock/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 900/DEF 900) onto either Field, up to the number equal to the result. These Tokens cannot be used as material for a Synchro or Xyz summon.

Komajade Sakusen (Normal)

Activate one of the following effects:

  • Increase the Pendulum Scale of one of your "Komajade" monsters by its Level this turn.
  • Target one "Komajade" monster in your Main Monster Zone that has a Level: it can make a second attack this Battle Phase. You can only activate this effect of "Komajade Sakusen" once per turn.

Komajade Sabaki (Quick-Play)

Return one "Komajade" monster you control to the hand, then you can Special Summon one "Komajade" monster from your hand, then if the returned monster was targeted for an attack, change the attack target to that Special Summoned monster.

Komajade Promotion (Normal)

Tribute 1 "Komajade" monster in your Main Monster Zone, and if you do, Special Summon one "NariKomajade Tokin" from your Extra Deck or GY, but negate its effects this turn. You can only use this effect of "Komajade Promotion" once per turn.

Traps

Komajade Yodo (Normal)

When an attack is declared involving your "Komajade" monster: You can Tribute one monster; negate the attack, then if you do, you can add one "Komajade" monster from your Deck or GY to your hand.

Komajade Uchikomi (Continuous)

When a monster owned by you is Summoned to your opponent's field, your opponent takes 400 damage.

Komajade Watasu (Normal)

Special Summon one "Komajade" monster from your hand, Deck or GY to your opponent's field, but negate its effects.

This needs something to designate what stage of the battle it takes place in.

This is a really creative and mechanically interesting concept, well done.

This deck is really lacking the normal stepping stones that it would need to summon all of the Link-6 monsters. I think a Link-3 that summons 3 Komajade monsters from the face-up extra deck but negates their effects would be very helpful.
