Guest Star
If Gold Sarcophagus was re-printed, would it be considered a staple?
Tekken Ham
If it was cheap it would be.
Guest Star
The value of a card shouldn't affect it's playability.
Cyber Altair
well, if you have it you should use it. but it's god damn expensive that it laughs at JD, DAD and CED at the same time.
Guest Star
CED is expensive?
Tekken Ham
CED was re-released as a SE promo, sure as hell expensive.
The Dark One
CED isn't expensive. JD and DAD are. Gold Sarcophagus is similar in value to an entire Dark Armed Dragon deck.
JesusofChaosâ„¢
it would be as close to staple as heavy storm and mirror force are
Guest Star
If you have a Gold Sarcophagus, you should use it, no?
Death7ofsb
The value of a card shouldn't affect it's playability. Well not for nothing but i dont think people would pay 2000 for a kuriboh or time wizard. GS is good, its a practically unstoppible any-card search though your deck. It can even be used to screw your opponents over in the first turns GS for scout plane and set a Crush card. Pharaoh_Atem
Staples are, by definition, cards that are mandatory to run in every deck worth using; they are cards that, if you are not running them, you are wasting your time attempting any competitive premise. The only OCG Staple is Chimeratech Fortress Dragon. Before LODT and the midformat alteration, the only TCG staples were Allure of Darkness, Dimension Fusion, and DMoC. Sarcophagus is most definitely not a staple. Orochi
some decks don't use allure, dimension or DMoC... even before LODT
