Based on that card's type, apply the proper effect: ● Monster: Battle Damage this card inflicts this turn is halved. ● Spell: This card can attack your opponent directly this turn. ● Trap: This card is changed to Defense Position.

You do know that Marine Neos doesn't do that, and Twinkle Neos is like him.
