If a “Knight” Warrior monster you control attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict Piercing Battle Damage._ ATK/1600 DEF/1400 _Royal Queen’s Knight_ (LIGHT) ️️️️ Warrior/Effect _This card's name becomes “Queen’s Knight” while it isn’t Banished Facedown. If you control a face-up “King’s Knight” and “Jack’s Knight” each (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY. If your Summon this card: You can take 1 “Knight” card you Possess; Either add it to your hand, send it to your GY, or shuffle it into your Deck. “Knight” Warrior Monsters you control in Defense Position cannot be destroyed by card effects. If a “Knight” Warrior monster you control attacks and destroys an opponent’s monster by battle, it can attack again in a row._ ATK/1500 DEF/1600 _Royal Jack’s Knight_ (LIGHT) ️️️️️ Warrior/Effect _This card's name becomes “Jack’s Knight” while it isn’t Banished Facedown. If you control a face-up “King’s Knight” and “Queen’s Knight” each (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY. If this card is Summoned: You can take 1 “Knight” card you Possess; Either add it to your hand, send it to your GY or shuffle it into your Deck. “Knight” Warrior monsters you control gain ATK equal to their original DEF, and DEF equal to their original ATK. Once per turn (Quick Effect), you can change the battle positions of any monsters you control._ ATK/1500 DEF/1600 basically, each of them is designed to support one another in different ways, apart form a universal effect of being able to be special summoned whilst the other 2 of their trio is up on your field, and a search effect for “Knight” cards if they do so. Also, they almost always treat themselves as their original counterparts to ensure maximum compatibility with their legacy support. Anyway, King provides battle destruction immunity while in attack position and piercing battle damage for “Knight” Warrior monsters, Queen provides them with Card Effect Destruction Immunity whilst they’re in Defense Postion AND extra attacks in a row after a successful monster destruction by battle, and Jack bolsters their ATK/DEF by the original value of the opposite stat, as well as a soft OPT (Quick Effect) to change the battle positions of any or all of your monsters, allowing one to take full advantage of King’s and Queen’s own effects. So now you have these 3 cards that are halfway adequate on their own, but become exponentially more powerful while together, while also boosting their fellow “Knight” warrior monsters.
LazerSwordKirbo
Interesting concept of having the three knights have complementary effects involving battle, but the name change effect wouldn't be active while in the deck, and the term "posses" isn't a part of the normal card text vocabulary so it isn't clear where the cards are coming from. But First He Lit It On Fire
In regards to my choice of wording for the name change and the use of “possess”, I was looking for ways to cut down on taking up too much effect box space. I’m trying to find a wording for the name change that covers as much ground as possible without running into deck building issues.
LazerSwordKirbo
You could use the same effect as the umi and harpy lady retrains: "This card is always treated as _______." This would let them be searched from the deck like with joker's straight.
But First He Lit It On Fire
See though, the problem with that is that it excludes the originals from being used in Deckbuilding, which I try to avoid in these sorta retrains. I suppose I could try something like “This card's name becomes "Gunkan Suship Shari" while in the hand, Deck, GY, or on the field.”…
