It seems like a simple little competition...

[/u]Alright, Ive seen a lot of cards on the realistic cards profile and ive gotta tell you, they dont seem realistic. So my challenge is this:

-Create 5 cards, they can be of any kind at all as long as I see at least one monster, one trap, and one spell.

-These five cards must all be based around on kind of strategy (no strategies that have already been used in structure decks)

-They must be very realistic. (They must have the right language, balance, and picture isnt too important as long as its not a TV show or something and it looks sort of like it would belong on the card, no real-life pictures)

-Also, I want you to include a sentance or two describing the strategy you would use these cards for

other than that, 's all free game! if you're gonna sign up, email me at [email protected] (please dont post a reply) and post your cards as replies BEFORE the 1st of August. Good luck!

Here are some cards that might fit for the competition...

Enjoy this work!!!

But what's the prize for the win???

Anyways, you would play Path of Color first, than Rainbow Pegasus than set Rainbow Star Shield. On your second turn, summon Rainbow Pony and activate Rainbow Star shield when your opponent attacks. Then play Rainbow Unicorn and try and attack your opponent right away. You might win the duel if you play your cards right...

Well I'll have a go at this.

I decided to do an Assassin theme.

Assassin-1.jpgAssassinsRevenge-1.jpgMysteriousAssassin.jpgSecretHideout.jpgSurpriseAttack.jpg

First you would play Assassin face-down and Surprise Attack face-down for safety. If your opponent attacks your Assassin it's flip effect will destroy the attacker. Then do four things: play the field card Assassin's Revenge, play the Secret Hideout card, play the Surprise Attack card face-down , and finally sacrifice Assassin to summon Mysterious Assassin. Now you have made it hard for your opponent. They have to guess which spot your Mysterious Assassin is on, and the first time they guess right your trap card will negate the attack. Then if your opponent finally kills your Mysterious Assassin you do damage to his lifepoints with Assassins Revenge, plus you can summon other monsters and the hideout effect will still apply. And as one final bonus, you get lifepoints everytime your Mysterious Assassin kills a monster!

Cool eh?

FINISHED CONTEST!

yeah, i looked at the 3 contestants cards, and i think that the "Assassin" Set is first, the "Werewolf" set is in second, and the "Pegasus/Unicorn" set comes in as the rear guard.

Assassin set - These cards will work well together as well as seperatly. The monsters worked exceptionally well, though imagination needs to play a bigger role. The spells, Assassin's Revenge should be a continous card, and is a bit overpowered. There should be a disadvantage. Secret Hideout is a nice idea, but there needs to be a cheat-proof way of doing it. As for the trap, there's no such thing as a quick-play trap card and maybe the points should have been 300 instead of 500.

Werewolf - It looks like all your cards didnt need the seperate "Lycan" card name, so that effect just got in the way. I like how you balanced the effects with the monster power, and Luna Wolf Circle seems pretty good, the whole set would be a little underpowered, even with Wolf Pack and Lycan Brute as your powerhouse cards. THis is a strategy of cards i would expect to see in a 2003-2004 series booster pack.

Pegasus/Unicorn - These cards are too reliant on each other. This set is something out of Yu-Gi-OH GX and doesnt exactly fit in with an actual set of cards. Rainbow Pegasus and Pony are broken (overpowered) and path of color is just too good, especially since it relies on one monster (the chances of opponents benifiting from a card that affects one monster on BOTH sides of the field is slim.). The cards i liked were Rainbow Unicorn and Rainbow Star Shield. Rainbow beginning effect could be changed to "Rainbow Pegasus" OR "Rainbow Pony" and that would make it a little less reliant. For your star shield, i would make the damage x200 because they have Lv.8 monsters out there 8x300=2400, which is more than 1/4 of a person's original LP. 8x200=1600, which is an alright amount, though it still can be devestating.
