Fact or Fiction?-The Cryptids (updated 4/6/2008)

Since it is the holidays for me,I've been going mad on card ideas.One of which is the Cryptid sub-type,based on cryptids,animals that have unknown backgrounds that is reported to have exist.They all share the effect that they will be removed from play after some time & re-appear later on.

 

Monster Cards

Chupacabre

DARK/Beast-Cryptid/LV 4/ATK 1400/DEF 1300

This card is removed from play during the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned.After 2 turns,you can Special Summon this card that is removed from play.You can destroy 1 Equip Card.This card gains 1000 ATK for every Equip Card destroyed by this effect.

 

Yeti the Mountain Ape-man

EARTH/Beast Warrior-Cryptid/LV 5/ATK 2300/DEF 2100

This card is removed from play during the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned.After 2 turns,you can Special Summon this card that is removed from play.When this card destroys a monster in battle,inflict 300 points of damage to the opponent.

 

Nessie of the Brimey Loch

WATER/Sea Serpent-Cryptid/LV 9/ATK 2900/DEF 1000

This card is removed from play during the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned.After 2 turns,you can Special Summon this card that is removed from play.When this card attacks a monster in DEF position & this card have a higher ATK,inflict the difference as Battle Damage to the opponent.When this card inflicts Battle Damage to the opponent,your opponent must discard 1 card.

 

Jack the Jumping Phantom

DARK/Fiend-Cryptid/LV 4/ATK 600/DEF 100

This card is removed from play during the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned.After 2 turns,you can Special Summon this card that is removed from play.This card can attack the opponent directly.

 

Mothman

WIND/Insect-Cryptid/LV 5/ATK 2100/DEF 1700

This card is removed from play during the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned.After 2 turns,you can Special Summon this card that is removed from play.The effects of any monster this card destroys in battle are negated.Monsters destroyed by this card are removed from play instead.

Secret Powers

Equip Spell

Pay 1000 Life Points to activate this card & equip this card to a Cryptid monster.The equipped monster's effect that removes it from play is negated & it gains 500 ATK & DEF.

 

Mysterious Sightings

Continuous Spell

During your Draw Phase,if you draw a Cryptid monster,you can Special Summon it.When the Cryptid monster is removed from play by its own effect,it cannot return to the field.

Pretty good' date=' but Mysterious Sightings is overpowered. A free Special Summon and another card....

 

I would either let you Special Summon the monster OR draw another card, not both.
