Zetsumei started to grin, "I am a ass normally, its what makes people drawn to me, anyways we need to head to the great world, so lets get going" Zetsumei said as the group left the graveyard and followed the directions of Zet, later they were in The Great World.

The party came to a huge metal gate that was held by some mysterious powers. Zet: "Its the wanderer's gate. It shows up in random situations such as this one and theres only one way to get past it." Angia: "How do we get past it?" Zet: "You have to wait till it moves." Zet pulled out an ancient book and turned to a page in it and showed it to Zetsumei.

"Wanderer's Gate. This gate is said only to be a myth and there are very few who have ever seen or even heard of it. As soon as this great gate sits itself down it erects an energy wall strong enough to keep anyone out. The gate is said to have more energy then anything in the known universe. Meitsu was almost finished his circle when a pitch black crow stole the chalk out of Meitsu's hand. Meitsu: "What the." The crow returned to a dark figure and the chalk dropped in the figures hand. Yukren: "Kyro, Meitsu. Its Hisan." Hisan: "Sorry boys, but your orders have been canceled." Kyro: "No way, our orders came from Xanders father himself." Hisan: "Yes, but if his father isn't necessarily "around" anymore then he can't make orders can he?" Yukren: "You bastard! What did you do!" Hisan: "Why don't you beat me and find out. Oh and one more thing Xander wont be helping you." Hisan pointed his finger at Xander and Xander lost his wings and was now a mere mortal again. Kyro: "Get him!"...

Jax: "Oh yes, how many days do you have left?" Geitsu: "Only 23." Setsuay: "Don't worry will get you all set later, I promise." Jax: "Lets go." Jax left a not for Quintus stating that they shall return before the Chaos Army fight.

[Careless Whisper]

Ino-Koa stopped her spell, then turned to Meti, who was still sitting on the boulder, twiddling his thumbs now. He turned to face her.

"Do you think I should take a side? All this neutrality is getting rough, I never wanted any of this to happen." He said. And as he said it, he noticed for the first time in his life, exactly how lonely he was, not because he just sitting on a rock waiting for Xander to wake up, but because he hasn't had a friend during the entire 18 years of his life. He had lost the only one who had ever cared for him nearly 10 years ago. And he was starting to doubt whether it is such a good choice to return the dead to the living. He turned to her again.

"I am sorry, but I could save his life, not without an offering. And I know you will want to wish for his life, but that kind of wish is not available, for I cannot give life back to one who has lost it." She said, sadly but yet still calmly and musically.

"I see, so it's yet another one to loose. I lost my foster father, I lost my foster mother, I loose my entire home. And now I loose one of my best friends." Tears now ran down his eyes.

"You are not entirely lost, you still have one more wish." He heard her say, for he had burried his face into his own arms. Like a child who just lost his own parents that day. But he felt something strange, something he did not expect as he sensed that Ino had lifted her paw to put it on his shoulder. But it wasn't a paw that he felt, it was a gentile, warm, human hand. He opened his eyes and turned. Ino was not in wolf form anymore, she had transformed her own body, like he usually did into a wolf. She had changed to a person with such beauty and warmth. Her hair was silvery, and long, her eyes, so like his now, purple and vividly glowing the light of the moonlight. "You still have me." She said, with a more musical voice now than she had as a wolf. It nearly made him fall asleep, as she held him in her arms. But suddenly, an idea came to him, though he dreaded it for so long.

"What if I gave my own life to Xander. He can live, while I can see my home's-people again." He said, looking into her comforting eyes, so beautiful they were, yet he cannot bare the loss of his friend.

"Only if you wish it." She said again, in her musical voice.

"Then, I wish, for my life, to be transferred into Xander. But first, let me take a moment of reflection."

"As you wish." She said, and backed away.

Meti stood up, and walked to Xander's body, how peaceful it was, lying dead against the tree trunk. Meti's eyes were full of tears.

He took a few minutes sitting there, staring into the blank, and asleep expression that Xander left to the world. How fitting, that he will soon switch places with him. And he knew what to do, as soon as he had gotten there. He stood up, and sank to his knees infront of Ino, who was still in her beautiful human form. His face was soaked in tears, and he croaked, "Do it."

She stooped low to him, and hugged him, as he sat weeping in her arms. She then placed her hand on either side of his head and held it up, and kissed him. He closed his eyes, and as his last breathe left his body, he fell limp, peacefull, and calm.

She let him fall, but gentily, onto the ground, she then turn into a wolf and walked over to Xander's body. Then, she howled. It was a howl like none the world has ever heard, the trees quaked, the wind rushed through the air like invisible bullets, and the lake of Artarius rippled. And Xander's body stirred with Life once more. She smiled at Xander, as she watched him open his eyes finally, leaving the world of the heavens.

[Dad]

Xander awoke, feeling drained but happy to be alive. "I've lost my powers, everything that made me what I was. I'm of no use to this world anymore. And yet I'm alive? But how? And what am I to do now? I have to restore my abilities."

[Careless Whisper]

Ino looked at Xander, smiled, and then stepped out of his sight. Revealing that Meti's body was laid infront of him, emotionless, expressionless, lifeless, but peacefull.

[Dad]

"Meti?" Xander was horrified. "First I'm a mortal again, and now. . .THIS? I. . .can't beleve he did this. And now I feel like it was all in vain, because I'm a mere mortal. What am I to do now? Forgive me Meti. . ." Xander raised his blade. . .

[Careless Whisper]

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. You'd be throwing Meti's gift away. It is because of him, that you now live, with alot more power than you have ever felt. You feel empty, because as long as you hold Meti's power, you also feel how he felt with it." The Wolf Spirit sounded suddenely, before Xander could do anything more. "He gave his life, so you could live again. And I have learned that he could not give to find his other brethren Shakari. he did it out of pure of heart. And that has put me into a stance of critical thinking." And she changed into the Human Women that she transformed into for Meti. "I should have told him. That I was not the wolf spirit that made him. I was the other brethren, and I learned how to grant wishes from the real Wolf Spirit. And now that I look into his face, I feel remorse for what I have done, for the fact that I was meant for Meti. Now that he's gone, my power is fullfilled, now it's time for the Real Wolf Spirit to take his job back." She was crying, she sank to her knees at Meti's body, and bowed her head to lay against Meti's chest.

[Dad]

"I. . " Xandr stared at the two. He had to restore his abilities, to cherish the gift Meti had given him. "I'll make sure he gets a porper burial. For now," he said wiping away a tear from his eyes. "I have to get back to Mt. Olympus." Xander ran as fast as he could, seeking Rome.

When he finally reached Rome, he rembered the folk tales; "Those who seek the highest mountain with the highest powers must face the highest challenges."

 

"I wonder what challenges await me before i can get back up to Mt. Olympus?" Xander began to climb the seemingly endless satircase. "This is for you Meti."

[Careless Whisper]

Xander felt a brush of fur wip his arm as he climbed. Ino had turned back into a wolf, and climbed with him.

"I shall promise Meti that I will help the one who carries his soul. I will die for his soul to be preserved." She watched him smile, and they continued to climb the mountain.

After a while, a strange effect began to take place, Ino had suddenly changed into a human once more, without will, she nearly fell, but held fast. "I cannot enter Olympus in my Wolf Form." She said out of the roar of the wind.

 

They both climbed slower from that point on.

 

 

OoC: Don't worry, Meti isn't completely gone, you'll see him again. Just not in living form.

[Dad]

Thanks to Ino, our hero is once again on a climb uphill, only this time literally. Will Xander be able to overcome any obstacles, should they occur? Or will he and Ino struggle in vain? Find out next time, on. . . "The Great War!"

Xander grabbes Ino's hand, and lifted her up over a gaping hole in the staircase, as the trio began to push forward once more.

[Davok]

``So this...'' Quintus looked on at the blood colored warrior. ``Is the reason for my existence.''

 

Zero smiled. ``You actually think an android like you that powerful would be used for such a meaningless task such as working in a workshop. No...'' the warrior turned, short blond hair running down his backside.

 

``You were meant for something more. Daedalus had no choice but to create you to resurrect me!'' Zero looked closely at the android. ``I, Zero, the Warrior of Blood, and The Golden Army shall be The Beginning of The End for Mount Olympus!'' His voice rang out with a roar as he retold the prophecy:

 

``Truth a Darkness,

the Warrior of Blood doth approach!''

[Dad]

A sudden chill ran down the spine of Xander. "Do you feel that?" he asked Ino.

[Careless Whisper]

"Yes, we must be getting close to the top." She replied.

 

Finally, after days, that seemed to feel like weeks, they made their way to the top. The Sky was familiar to Xander now, but Ino wasn't used to it.

As they made their way through the top, they came across the gates, where they found someone in light clothing, like he was never harmed, but whole and new, and Ino was the first to see. She stopped, for she noticed who it was, waiting at the gates of Heaven, a beautiful silver halo floating over his head, Meti Terricruz, not flesh or living, but spirit, going to heaven, and when he turned, his expression was full of surprise.

"Ino!" He called out, as he ran to greet them. At the sound of her name, Ino bursted forward, at full flight toward Meti's outstretched arms, and they hugged each other. "Ino..." He repeated with a whisper. He looked up at Xander, who he noticed had the face of utmost surprise, but happiness.

"It's so good to see you my friend. I must say, I really apreciate what you did for me. How can I thank you?" He shook his comrades hand, and gave him a great bear hug.

[Davok]

The steps rang out as the Warrior of Blood ascended Mt. Olympus. He had left Quintus to amass The Golden Army for the invasion. As if any God or Titan could stand against He- Zero, the Warrior of Blood.

 

At last he ascended the steps. ``Well, well.'' the warrior smiled cruelly. ``What do we have here?''

[Dad]

Xander turned to see a mighty warrior behind him. Knowing he could do nothing, he simply stepped aside, wondering what he could possibly want.

[Davok]

``Hahahaha...'' the warrior laughed. His hand morphed into a saber. The other morphed into a shield. ``Xander Krios, Meti Terricruz and Ino, eh? Well, well... it could be fun killing you both.''

[Dad]

Xander looked at the warrior in horror. "Who are you? And what have we done to deserve this? Why would you want to kill me?"

"Its worth a try Zet" Zetsumei said as he walked up to the gate, "Gate would you let us pass" Zetsumei asked the gate as a face materialised infront of the gate, "If you end my life you can pass to the lands beyond me" the gate said as it yawned, "I am tired of living this eternal life, if it is ended I will no longer have to live this sorrow" the gate said as it moaned in pain, something seemed to be wrong with it, "I have no problem with ending your life" Zetsumei said as he started to draw his blade, "Grand Draw, technic lv 3" he said as a giantic dark wave came from the blade of his sword and cut the gate down in half. After the gate's halfs disappeared it regenerated, "I guess it will take a little bit more power then I thought it would" Zetsumei muttered...................

[Careless Whisper]

Meti just stood in the same spot. Looking at Zero with malice. "You know, Zero, thanks to me dieing, I found the truth I was looking for. The very soul who lead the army that destroyed mine and Ino's home. The Warrior of Blood. And I cannot let you inside. I may not be an Angel yet, but I can still hold you off until the angels get here." He said, flinging his arms in the way. Ino cowarded behind him, gripping his now white shirt, which was soft and silky.

Xander knew he could do nothing, but he would die trying. He charged. . .

[Careless Whisper]

Meti moved quickly, he dashed infront of Xander, holding his arm out to block his advance. "No!, this is my fight, he's the one who is responsible for the death of my people, and I shall make him pay." He said, noticing that Ino was full of tears out of the corner of his eye. "I may not have my body or my life anymore, but I still have my power. And this time, I have something more, the love from Ino-Koa, and my spirit shall fight for her." But in his Meti's mind, he knew he was only lieing, what chance would his spirit possibly have, his power now resides in Xander, but Xander didn't know how to use it.
