Ive seen alot of contest lately that concerns having a high level for you to qualify in the contest. Well as of my recent strolls around the forum i have seen alot of cards that is greatly made by whom you ask by level 1 or 2 members! I was really amazed by their talent! So Iam gonna make a contest about making 3 new Destiny Hero monsters!(1st, 2nd , 3rd winners) that is open to all existing members of YCM but please do not spam or post any crap on this contest I beg you all(*goes on his knees and beg*) So pls do not spam! The winner gets a chance to have their card featured in a project im making(still secret by now) but i assure you it will be great! SO I WISH ALL OF YOU THE BEST OF LUCK!!!AND MAY I SEE GREAT CARD CREATIONS AND TALENT ON WORK!!!^_^!!!

(BTW : This is my 2nd Contest!!!People!!!)

-Contest Is open to All Levels!

-Create 1 Monster CArd that can be the newest Destiny Hero Made

-Must have a brilliant, new, and useful effect

-Name must have something to do with the picture

-Do your best!^_^

-No Spamming(Seriously!)

I Will be Judging on June 9, 2008 At The YCM times of 1:00 AM - 4:00 AM

Judgement!!!!

(My Friend from Konami Finally got the rates! here they are!!!)

Jovock: Too high of a defense for a single tribute effect monster. There needs to be some negative side to the effect if you want to keep the defense that high. (65%)

 

Jack D. Slayer: I'm a little uncertain as to the requirements for this monsters summon. Is it a special summon or does the cost apply to any type of summon? If it's only a special summon, I would reduce the attack, or get ride of the attack boost in the effect. It the cost applies to any type of summon, I would leave it as it is. (82%)

 

Sun Caster: Interesting effect, balanced attack and defense. Seems fine the way it is. In fact, I would like to put this card in a Gravity Bind deck. But then again the image needs work! XD (80%)

 

Slash Shot: This card's effect seems a little odd. I'm not sure if there's a D-hero card you plan to use with it that will help make it better or what. Oh well. Seems fine for the moment. (70%)

 

Returner: Interesting effect, but way too much. Essentially, with this card in the grave and a Malicious in your deck, you can have both this card and a copy of malicious on the field at the cost of removing Malicious (you do remove Returner but.... you know.... he returns....). Yes, this is a 6 star monster with only 900 points to it's attack. But that means almost nothing considering this monster will rarely be tribute summoned. This turns a simple discard into 2 free monsters on the field. Again, interesting idea but it's a bit too powerful. Take out the Malicious effect and increase the attack/defense. Maybe 1800/2100?(82%)

 

Blood Sword: This is really close to being balanced, but I get the feeling it could get too powerful in a lot of different situations while in play. So, I say decrease it's attack and make it a 4 star monster (being a 4 star monster actually hurts it a little. I know it doesn't make sense, but there are a lot of cards out there that punsih the player for using 4 star monsters). Perhaps down to 800?(80%)

 

Fate Gunner: Seems a little too powerful. But at least it's attack is semi-low. And direct attacks would do nothing more than add counters to the card. Maybe increase the number of counters removed for a card draw to 3. Especially when you consider an all D-hero deck late in the game could have upwards of 15 monsters in it's grave. Most games don't last that long (or shouldn't) so 3 might be the right number. (82%)

 

Nightmare: Why give it 4000 defense if it must be in attack position? And the final effect doesn't seem to make any sense. The only way to remove a card from play is by effect, is it not? No, wait... you can remove some cards as a cost (which isn't an effect). Still, seems a little out there. Oh well.(70%)

 

Demise Lord: Feels like there needs to be a cost for using the effect. Nothing major, since the monster has such a low attack to begin with. Or maybe a limit to using it? Something like: Each time you use this effect, subtract 200 points from your monsters defense. If this monsters defense is equal to 0, destroy this monster and send it to the graveyard.(80%)

 

Ripper: Seems fine to me, effect is interesting but! still needs some work specially for using seshomaru of inuyasha as its image! lol (75%)

 

Moon Slasher: A good idea including Sun Caster in the effect. Gives it a "day and night" feel, but then again still need another image!.(80%)

 

Delta Scar: Interesting effect and concept in general. Seems balanced enough. Nice work, but then again image needs work! XD(74%).

 

Mantis Slasher: The effect seems too complicated for a level 4 monster. However, it seems balanced to me. but i can't put my finger on something that is wrong with this card! XD(83%)

 

Moonlight Slayer: Another balanced creation, and probably the best! HAving a personalized image for what you want! having a good effect that will surely fit a Destiny Hero Combo Deck! And has a catchy name since you put DARK CITY as his BG! (85%)

 

Skullfeeder - Has An intersting, effect, a creepy image, a nice name but still this lacks creativity! I assume this will be never put to reality! T_T(75%)

 

Tips from a Konami Judge!: A solid attempt at card creation. However, I'm not sure the artwork and character ideas behind the cards would fit. Some of these don't even seem human and...... from what I understand, Warrior type cards are supposed to represent the human side of the Yugioh Universe. Also, I'm not a big fan of the Heroes in general. The game has seriously become over-flown with warrior type monsters thanks to them. Since I'm very balance-minded.... you can see how this would anger me a little. lol. But I could right a proposal to UDE for the fullfillment of this cards! but only some of them i guess! Im starting to like this site! I think! I will be constantly viewing this! but only as a guess to see other good creations! A BIG 2 THUMBS UP FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR Of this SITE!

Ultimateryan & his Returner: Your card is pretty cool, and has a very nice effect, I can see the returner like image, but then again it is too Movie Like Picture and not pretty much Yugioh, which is graphic like! ^_^(82.87%)

Dark Edo Phoenix & his Fate Gunner : LOL I can see Vincent of FF7 you could have one if you used another image and changed the effect a bit! but oh well thats life! ^_^ (82.75%)

Pirosthe3rd % his Jack D. slayer: I Can sense medievalness in this card which serves good! as you can see D-Heros! are Medieval like! , This card has simple but great effect! A Interesting Image of A ScareCrow Man! Jumping to the moonlight! with his vine whip thingy! ^_^(82.89%)

Here's the effect if it's too small: In addition to a normal attack, this card can attack as many times as the number of "Destiny Heroes" in your Graveyard. All Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent's Life Points becomes 0. Each time this card attacks your opponent's Life Points directly, place 1 "Fate Counter" on this card. Remove 2 "Fate Counters" from this card to draw 1 card.
