Exiro
Very hard to time, but hey, it's just 2 cards! It only works in a Light deck. Your opponent must have a strong monster on the field and 1 or more other Monsters, all in atk mode. How many depends on your opponent's life points and the atk of his monsters. Asura Priest + Honest. Example of how effective it is: Opponent has DMoC and Stratos on the field. His life points are <= 3600 (Imagine that he used 1 Solemn).Asura Priest attacks DMoC and you drop Honest. 1700 + 2800 - 2800 = 1700.Asura Priest attacks Stratos, still powered by Honest. 1700 + 2800 - 1800 = 2700.Total Damage = 1700 + 2700 = 4400. Also, if he uses anything that negates the attack, you haven't dropped Honest yet. In a Light deck that uses Honest, you just need to add 1 single card and the OTK is in your deck. Discuss. 「tea.leaf」
I was expecting 8000 LP or more... Besides, that kind of field for your opponent isn't something that can be guaranteed.
Umbra
I was expecting 8000 LP or more... Besides' date=' that kind of field for your opponent isn't something that can be guaranteed.[/quote'] Because the opponent wouldn't want to use monsters, do they? Unless they run Simochi Burn or some other obscure decktype I haven't manage to learn yet, they're bound to use at least some monsters, powerful or not. As long as you make sure you attack the strongest monster first... Well, anything could happen.
「tea.leaf」
Well, I'm just saying this move requires too much timing, amirite?
Exiro
Well' date=' I'm just saying this move requires too much timing, amirite?[/quote'] Well, yes, that's the downside. The upside (pun) is that it doesn't screw up your deck and you don't have to base it around it. It's just a pro move you can make by adding 1 card to a deck that already uses Honest. So, actually, I was wrong to call it 'inefficient', it's just hard to time. Phantasy Dreamz
well........ the priest cant be special summon..... you would have to wait for this to work.... and youll need to be able to negate opponent's attacks.........
CrabHelmet
I love how the definition of "OTK" is completely ignored here. The way this topic uses the term, and victory that results from reducing the opponent's Life Points to 0 is an OTK, since the final blow is landed in one turn.
