ImmortalX999
Hello everyone, I am back and I thought I would start things off with this card: Name: Overwhelming Madness Normal Spell Effect: Activate only if you have lost 6000 or more LP by battle or card effect inflicted by your opponent. If you would take damage or a card you control would be negated: Discard 1 card of the same type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as the activating card; negate that effect, and if you do, send both cards to the GY. They are negated until the end of this turn. Must have 5 or more cards in your hand to activate and resolve this effect. If you don't discard all cards in your hand by the end of the turn this card was activated, you lose the Duel. If you did discard all cards, return all cards your opponent controls in their hand, GY, field, and banishment into the Deck. You can only activate 1 "Overwhelming Madness" per Match. Note: The card's effect is a mix that is taken from the banned cards: Painful Choice, Last Turn, Self Destruct Button, Shock Master (the discard and select a type), and Fiber Jar. It also takes from the Anime and Manga cards which include: Zero Hole(GX), Compensation meditation(Anime): the you must control things, Overlay Reborn(Anime): The "If you do/don't... " Please give me feedback and let me know if this would be printed to today as a gimmicky card or used by one of the characters in the manga or anime. LazerSwordKirbo
Is this supposed to work like "Uradora of Fate" as a lingering effect that triggers regardless of the status of the card?
ImmortalX999
Correct, once the activation of the card is met and the conditions to activate the discard effect starts regardless of the position it goes until the end. But yes, it can be negated upon first activation of the card.
