my entry is reserved, but you're violating the rules of privacy and opinion, rights which everyone has. Many contests don't even get 12 participants, so you're acting on a whim as though your contest is so important that it will get more that 10...

Give a description of the contest, and all contests should be open regardless of the number of participants. To those of you who agree with me, please do not participate until Duelist9 complies to this.

Thank you, Dhpo. *feeds ganondorf* At least there's someone on this site with sense.

and by the way, Duelist9, 9 judges is a bit much for a contest for only lvl 3 and below, isn't it? maybe 1 judge per category, or just you judge because that's how most contests work.

Wait! This is breaking the rules! RULE 12!

Rule 12 - Credit to Bhim for this Rule!

You CANNOT only allot for a certain number of entrants [i.e. "Only five people can enter]. You're holding a competition. This means YOU'RE grading everything. It's your problem your contest is so popular that twenty people enter with twenty cards each.

My opinion on this rule is agreement with Bhim' date=' but i will be more liniant and let it off, as long as conflict does not arise.

My point is not that this is a matter of "the rules", which no one follows anyway. This is a matter of politeness. I would like to be informed of the rules of a contest before I go gallavanting off into the sunset of cardmaking. If this is all a scam, or if its a wild goose chase, I want to be able to tell that before I join the contest. It's sheer selfishness to say, "Oh, we can't hold a contest unless enough people join," because, not only does it give you a safeguard against having to hold the contest ("Oh, I decided to change the number to 20, so we can't do it now..."), it also makes you sound like you think you own the website... and last time I checked, the owner was MyBB... or something.

Bingo! Aeon got it on the mark! (+Rep for being so intelligent!)

Duelist, you need to be courteous to your contestants. This might be a contest for just 3-stars, but you can get people pretty pissed off for acting all vague. I'd like to just say that my older brother held a contest like this, and it got 5 ppl I think. He was going to cancel it, but a supermod threatened him with account termination... yikes.

My guess is you haven't even got a good idea for the contest (which is the way it usually goes with vague instructions -- the process usually isn't understood in the 1st place). If you do, then there's no point in not telling us. So, what'll it be, you're witholding information that we deserve to have, or you've just raised the hopes of a large portion of this site for nothing? The third option is to publish your contest rules, which is probably the smartest idea.
