Urian could both see and hear the upcoming Exodar. However, he had also picked up on a member of the Underworld approaching. Desperate to avoid detection (and the inevitably subsequent redeath), he tried Farore's wind to escape, careful to evade Talim's range of wind-reading.

When Exodar did arrive, Talim found only Pit, floating in the clearing. "How'd you produce that light?" she asked, ignoring her other passengers weariliy climbing out.

"Wow, you think? As in, your brain is capable of processing something other than impressing rabid fangirls? World record for the pretty boy," Bass taunted as his Bass Buster, combined with Pit's arrow, knocked Sephiroth out of the air.

"Magic tricks won't fare so well against me," Bass warned, whistling shrilly. As Treble dramatically sailed into view, Talim slammed an Icy Wind straight into Sephiroth's back. He hit the ground hard.

Meanwhile, Urian Kanstyx was watching the fight, attempting to locate an appropriate time to make his entrance.

...only to find himself sailing into Urian's sword.

"Psilo," he growled. A dome of pink light spread out over the battlefield.

"That is the epitome of dishonor," the dark knight continued, stepping away. "No more will your magic interfere with true combat. Let the real fight... begin." As Urian leaped away, Bass fired a string of Bass Busters at him.

OoC: Magic + Sephiroth + FFR = No Fun For Other RPers. I took Magic out of the equation.

OoC: Yes, but you do overestimate him. And you do realize that Comet thing would give nigh-mortal injuries, right?

IC:

Bass dodged the first slash, then produced an energy blade and continued to battle. Meanwhile, Urian loaded the fallen warriors into Exodar and piloted away.

OoC: Nearly fatal.

IC:

Frustrated that Sephiroth was still giving chase, Urian fired an arrow straight through his wing.

OoC: Good balancing.

Bass engaged Treble's armor form and soared away. As Exodar was already doubling back for him, it didn't take long for him to return to safety.

First words out of his mouth were: "Who the hell are you?"

"Someone who he can't find," Urian responded grimly, picking up the block of ice that was Pit; it was wet and beginning to thaw under the heavy sunlight. "Any ideas for restraining him?"

"Toss him over; he can fly," Bass replied. Smirking beneath his armor, the undead soldier hurled it into the sea. Sure enough, he thawed almost immediately, and began to fly again before he hit the surface of the ocean.

ooc: thank you, and I'm going to be playing Auron as if he was "dead" if you've played FFX you'll know what I mean.

The Exodar was flying at a steady speed, but the pilot didn't know how low they we're and the right wing scraped against something that was on top of a mountain. A blade that was jammed in the ground as a sign of respect was now in the dust...

Angered, Urian fired another arrow at Pit, who was re-frozen on contact.

"I'm a ghost," Urian explained to Bass. "Pit is trying to return me to the Underworld. I can't go back until the Fourth Wall is secure."
