These two are very good sets, but which do you think is better. I say Lightsworn.

LS simply have more speed, and if GB they don't side cards that will totally lock LS down, they won't win from them.

You don't understand, what I'm saying is comparing these two is stupid. The decks do different things and uses different strategies to achieve victory. It's like comparing apples to a paper bag. The apple feeds you, the paper bag holds your food. They don't do the same thing.

I'd have to say apples are the clear winner in this one, although paper bags are a toolbox-ish deck if you put lunch items in, apples just have more speed since they can roll around and paper bags rely on luck for the wind to blow their deck for card advantage. Yeah, I'll definitely go with apples here. I mean...crunchy OTK ftw.

You still don't get it. The means used to achieve the goal (victory in this case) are completely different. A better comparison would be Dark Armed Dragon Return to Lightsworn, they both swarm like hell to win. Gladiator Beasts are slow grind out toolbox, whereas Lightsworn is just fast-paced swarm kill.

 

So you'd be better of comparing Apples to Tomatoes since they both give you Vitamin C, and do it (in essentially) the same way. Apples to Meatloaf wouldn't work, Protein vs. Vitamins.

Let's all agree that both decks rawks!

Lightsworns can easily swarm the whole field in only a few turns.

Gladiator Beasts can freely escape after a fight & have support cards to help them stay alive.

Pros:1. u can eat them good

2. they hurt on impact.

3. cheap and easy to get

 

Cons: 1. u can only hold 4 effectively

2. u cant eat the middle

 

 

Paper Bags:

Pros: 1.u can hold quite a bit of stuff in them.

2. u can strangle someone wit them

3. u can put them over someones head to hide the ugly they have.

 

cons: 1.hard to get really whos sells these anymore.

2.easly broken when over filled.

It'd be more plausible to compare to decks that try to win using the same method such as Six Samurais and Zombies (swarm vs. Swarm)

 

Lightsworn is better but with the release of Chariot and Equitte Gladiator Beasts will be a lock down control deck that's actually wait for it.......good.

I agree. Archetypes are more comparable when they use similar methods. However, I think some GB might hit the Banlist quicker than some Lightsworn cards, except for Judgement Dragon of course. We all know he's the first card to be banned between them.
