Favorite Grass-Type Starter Pokemon

Bulbasaur followed by Turtwig.

 

I love Bulbasaur (favorite pokemon). He's the most powerful starter in the game with a dual type that no others have (Grass/Poison).

He easily beats out the rest of the competition with being able to poison his grass-type opponents as well as with a high special attack and a high defense, he's a powerful tank to keep on your team.

 

Turtwig was my second choice as when it evolves it is a ground/grass type, offering it protection from electric-type pokemon (weakening it more, however, to flying). It also helps offer a better defense against fire-types with his ground-based moves like Earthquake.

Don't forget that when Turtwig fully evolves into Torterra, it has a mega weakness against ice. Protect it with a Yache berry. On a Positive note, Since Torterra is a Ground type, he'd be pretty handy against Electric Types.
