ObexKing
Unholy Illusionist of Deep Despair Lvl 7–ATK 3000–DEF 0–Illusion—Fusion—Pendulum—Tuner—Effect EFFECT: “Nightmare Magician” + 2 DARK monsters If this card battles an opponent’s monster, neither can be destroyed by that battle. Once per turn you can destroy 1 card on the field regardless of its effects then place this card in a pendulum zone. If this card would be sent to the extra deck you can special summon 1 Illusion-type monster from your hand, deck, or graveyard. Once per turn you can discard 3 cards from your hand then this card becomes an Xyz monster instead of a fusion monster until the end of this turn. While this card is an Xyz monster you can target 1 card in Your graveyard and attach it to this card as material. Once per turn while this card is an Xyz monster you can remove 1 material from this card then for the rest of this turn any time an effect is activated gain 100 life points. PENDULUM EFFECT: While this card is in the pendulum zone it cannot be destroyed or banished by card effects. When your opponent activates an effect you can special summon this card to your field. Once per turn when your opponent activates a spell card negate it and if you do banish the top card of your deck.
LazerSwordKirbo
Short answer: yes long answer: absolutely, all effects need a hard once per turn and a removal dodge that summons a monster from nearly anywhere is way to strong. While the transforming of types is a neat idea it serves no purpose in the cards design due to the other effects being unrelated, also the detach effect does almost nothing unless you are playing aroma cards which have no other synergy with this card. While I get why you would want to make the card more resistant in the pen zone making it indestructible and unbanishable seems like a bit too much, I would just make it untargetable.

Glad to know that it’s broken just the way I want it to

For example if someone activated an effect like. When this card is activated declare 1 monster type, fusion, Xyz, Synchro, or link. The declared monster type cannot activate its effects until the end of this turn.

I understand the idea but if its effect can’t be activated then it can’t change types to dodge the restriction.
