Knights of Borrel - Wired Medium [Written]

DARK / Dragon / Effect

2 DARK Effect Monsters, including 1 LINK-4/+ Monster

-Neither player can target this card with monster effects.

-You can only use each effect of "Knights of Borrel" once per turn:

-During your opponent's turn (Quick Effect): You can target one 1 Link Monster in your GY; this card is treated as having that card's name and effect(s) until the end of the turn.

-If your opponent activates a monster effect, you can activate a Trap card from your hand or GY.

-If your opponent adds a card from their Deck to their hand, you can target one card you control; destroy it, and if you, place that card on the bottom of their Deck.

This card is a reference to both VRAINS and Serial Experiments Lain. Both of them feature a hacker group known as the Knights of Hanoi. In Lain, the Knights are viewed positively but perhaps are not. In VRAINS, the Knights are viewed negatively but are actually a noble group aside from all the hooligan members Revolver himself hates but is using. "Wired Medium" is a Lain reference and refers to this card's ability to copy the effect of any Borrel monster you might have in your GY. Despite having the same Link Arrows as Borreload, this card has more synergy with Borrelsword or Borrelguard in the GY. The Trap effect is a reference to Revolver's use of old cards like Magic Cylinder.
