CardSharpDoppel
Hey everyone. This is an archetype I came up with recently. It is based off of a villain from the popular anime InuYasha. In the show, the villain uses hexes and familiars to attack the protagonists, which is reflected in the archetype. This deck revolves around using continuous trap cards and beating down the opponent. I came up with this archetype because trap monsters are an underwhelming card mechanic and because I thought it would be cool into include more Shinto mythology in the card game. Extra Deck Monsters (1) Miya, The Shadow Summoning Master Fiend / Fusion / Effect / DARK / Level 11 ATK/DEF: 3700 / 3000 Effect: 1 Level 7 Spellcaster monster+ 1 Level 10 DARK monster. Must first be Fusion Summoned or Special Summoned by tributing the required materials on your side the field. When this card is Fusion Summoned or Special Summoned by its effect, you can set 1 continuous trap card directly from your deck or GY. It can be activated the turn it is set. All monsters you control gain 100 ATK/DEF for each continuous trap card on the field and in your GY. Main Deck Monsters (1) Miya, The Shadow Summoning Priestess Spellcaster / Effect / DARK / Level 7 ATK/DEF: 2400 / 2000 Effect: You can special summon this card by from your hand sending 1 continuous trap card from your hand or side of field to the GY. When this card is summoned, you can add 1 "Shadow Summon" card from your deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can activate 1 set continuous trap card that special summons itself as an effect monster the turn it is set. You can only activate this effect of "Miya, The Shadow Summoning Priestess" once per turn. Spell Cards (2) Contract With the Shadow Summoner Spell / Quick-Play Effect: Pay 1500 LP. Fusion summon 1 "Shadow Summon" monster from your extra deck by sending its materials from your hand or the field to the GY. You can substitute 1 material on that monster by sending continuous trap cards that special summon themselves as effect monsters from your hand, field, or deck to the GY. If you do, the combined levels in their effect must be equal to or greater than the material's level. Temple of the Shadow Summoner Spell / Field Effect: When this card is activated, you can set 1 "Shadow Summoning Art" Spell/Trap card directly from your deck. You can activate each effect of "Temple of the Shadow Summoner" once per turn. •You can activate 1 continuous trap card the turn it is set •If a trap card that can special summon itself as an effect monster is sent to the GY, draw 1 cards Trap Cards (3) Shadow Summoning Art: Haunted Armor Trap / Continuous Effect: Special summon this card as an effect monster (Zombie/DARK/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 0) with the following effect (this card is also still a trap). •You take no battle damage from battles involving this card. •If this card is destroyed by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to battling monsters ATK If you control no monsters on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card as an effect monster from your hand without setting it. You can only activate this effect of "Shadow Summoning Art: Haunted Armor" once per turn. Shadow Summoning Art: Amulet of Possession Trap / Continuous Effect: Special summon this card as an effect monster (Rock/DARK/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 0) with the following effects (this card is also still a trap). •Once per turn, target 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. Equip the target to this card. If this card would be destroyed, send the equipped monster to the GY instead. •Once per turn, you can send 1 monster attached to this card to the GY: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the monster's ATK. You can set this card from your GY by sending 1 continuous trap card from your hand or field to the GY. You can only activate this effect of "Shadow Summoning Art: Amulet of Possession" once per turn. Shadow Summoning Art: Soul Serpent Trap / Continuous Effect: Special summon this card as an effect monster (Zombie/Tuner/LIGHT/Level 3/ATK 400/DEF 400) with the following effects (this card is also still a trap). •This card cannot be attacked and is unaffected by your opponent's card effects while there are other monsters on your side of the field •Each time your opponent activates a monster effect, inflict 400 damage to your opponent when that effect resolves Edited May 11, 2024 by CardSharpDoppel
