Rongaulius
This thread needs to end right now. Hopefully a mod will come online soon and lock it up, but until then: This is the internet. Most of the members of this forum don't know each other in real life and will never meet face to face. Becoming as apparently angry as any of the hot heads in this thread have become is ridiculous. Why does the opinion of someone you don't know matter so much that you? There's an old saying that is now all but forgotten: "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never touch me". It's possible for two people to disagree without being angry about something. Don't take it personally if someone disagrees with you. Respectfully state your opinion and move on. It isn't the end of the world, and it's not worth wasting the time and energy on being angry. 1

It seems like kept going after I made my comment earlier. Please end it and move on. Yᵤₘₐ ₖₐᵢbₐ
I have to admit that the A.I image is far from perfect, there are still many flaws in it. But A.I is still learning, it is very possible that in the future A.I will be able to create OG images according to what is in our imagination. ~The End~
FriendlyFire675
As a book once told me, "Fear can never hurt you, as long as it stays a dream". This chat has been a fever dream to me and regret getting involved with any of it. So I'm saying screw this, I'm out like a judge on shark tank. KH911
I know I'm late to this discussion. I think the main problem is that AI art is it's still new technology, and like any form of Machine Learning, it has to learn from what exists. This means that AI scans existing images, and mashes them together to make new images. This is the main reason I believe if you want good art, AI cannot replace artists: AI doesn't create anything new and all of it's creations are soulless. Now I hate AI, and I say this as someone who generates AI images for the cards I create. I don't draw, I've tried to learn and it's not for me. I simply don't enjoy it so why would I go through all the effort of learning to draw and doing something I don't enjoy, just so I can create cards? However, despite the fact I hate AI art because it's terrible and soulless. Hell half the time it generates an image that looks nothing like I wanted and I end up posting the card without an image anyway. But the other half that it makes something decent, I use it because it brings my cards to life. "You can just make a card without art" that's true, but there's something so disappointing about making a monster and not being able to share what it looks like, a feeling that artists maybe don't understand because they've never made cards without art. Back to my original point, I think AI art (and AI in general) is a powerful tool. Just like a paper and pencil, a computer, a phone, it's a tool. Even dynamite was created as a tool for excavation, but it was also used as a tool of war. A tool is a tool, the only harm comes from how it's used. If AI is used as a tool to aid people in their work, then it's a great invention, but if AI is used to entirely replace people because it's cheaper, that's when it becomes a problem. So ultimately, like every other tool, the solution isn't to just outright ban or boycott AI because it can be useful tool. The solution is to have rules and regulations put in place to ensure AI is used for good. Which is a problem with the internet as a whole: Predatory practices in videos games, excessive and intrusive ads, online gambling, social media spying on people, etc. The internet is a lawless place and we need competent people who understand this space to make the rules for it, not the dinosaurs in power who don't even know what Wifi is. PS. How has Zamazenta not gotten banned yet? It's not just his posts about AI, even his posts about underwhelming card reveals, and even some custom cards that aren't meta defining. I genuinely can't remember any of their posts that didn't give an aneurysm.

AI will never created anything new its a tool made to make corporations like OpenAI Profits.
