There are surely some spelling mistakes and I will have to improve the card structure to make some effects easier to understand. The Nordriss (Nord + Ice in Ancient Norse) are very slightly inspired by vikings, but very deformed with classic medieval fantasy. The card arts are 100% created with AI. The strategy of the Nordriss archetype is focused on battle and counters, although they have good protection capabilities and other resources. Quote When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Maiden - Einn" once per turn. ● If you control a "Nordriss" monster, except "Nordriss Maiden - Einn": You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, this card gains 300 ATK/DEF. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Nordriss" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Nordriss Maiden - Einn". When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Explorer - Tveir" once per turn. ● If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can look at the top 3 cards of your Deck, then add 1 "Nordriss" card from those cards to your hand, except "Nordriss Explorer - Tveir", also return the remaining cards to the top of your Deck in any order. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Nordriss" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can increase the ATK/DEF of all "Nordriss" monsters you control by 300. You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with ATK less than this card's ATK; destroy that target. You can only use this effect of "Nordriss Warrior - Thrir" once per turn. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Strategist - Fjorir" once per turn. ● If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Nordriss" card from your Deck to the Graveyard; All "Nordriss" monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF. ● (Quick Effect): You can target 1 "Nordriss" monster you control, except "Nordriss Strategist - Fjorir"; remove 1 Fury Counter from that target, and if you do, that target is unaffected by monsters' effects except itself, until the end of the turn. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Valkyrie - Fimm" once per turn. ● If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 "Nordriss" card in your GY; shuffle that target into the Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card. ● If a "Nordriss" monster you control, except "Nordriss Valkyrie - Fimm", is about to leave the field by card effect, you can remove Fury Counters from "Nordriss" monsters you control, equal to the number of "Nordriss" monsters that would leave the field, instead. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Conqueror - Sceks" once per turn. ● If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 "Nordriss" monster in your Graveyard, except "Nordriss Conqueror - Sceks"; Special Summon that target. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 2 "Nordriss" monsters in your Graveyard, except "Nordriss Conqueror - Sceks"; add 1 target to your hand and shuffle the other target into the Deck. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle and inflicts piercing battle damage. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Snow Queen - Sjau" once per turn. ● You can target "Nordriss" monsters with different levels that you control; The number of target monsters is equal to the number of monsters your opponent controls that lose ATK equal to the DEF of this card, and then, if their ATK is reduced to 0 by this effect, destroy them. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 non-Fusion "Nordriss" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle and inflicts piercing battle damage. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Storm King - Atta" once per turn. ● You can target "Nordriss" monsters with different levels you control; the number of target monsters is equal to the number of cards your opponent controls that are destroyed, and if you do, all "Nordriss" monsters you control gain 300 ATK for each Spell/Trap destroyed by this effect. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 non-Fusion "Nordriss" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle and inflicts piercing battle damage. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Winter King - Niu" once per turn. ● You can target "Nordriss" monsters with different Levels you control; the number of target monsters is equal to the number of cards your opponent controls and in their Graveyard that are shuffled into the Deck. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 non-Fusion "Nordriss" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle and inflicts piercing battle damage. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Eternal King - Tiu" once per turn. ● You can target "Nordriss" monsters with different Levels you control; the number of target monsters is equal to the number of cards your opponent controls and in their Graveyard that are banished. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 non-Fusion "Nordriss" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when an attack involving this card is declared, place 1 Fury Counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on this card. If this card has 3 or more Fury Counters, it cannot be destroyed by battle and inflicts piercing battle damage. If this card has 6 or more Fury Counters it inflicts double battle damage and your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during the Battle Phase. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Warlord - Ellefu" once per turn. ● You can send all other cards on the field to the Graveyard, and if you do, place 1 Fury Counter on this card for each card sent to the Graveyard by this effect. ● If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 2 "Nordriss" monsters in your Graveyard, except "Nordriss Warlord - Ellefu"; add 1 target to your hand and Special Summon the other target. f you control a "Nordriss" monster: Special Summon 1 "Nordriss" monster with a different level from any card you control, from your Deck. Except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card and 1 "Nordriss" monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Nordriss" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. You can only use each efect of "Nordriss Call" once per turn. Add 1 "Nordriss" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Nordriss Wind". You can banish this card from your Graveyard; place 1 Fury Counter on all "Nordriss" monsters you control. You can only use each efect of "Nordriss Wind" once per turn. Place 1 Fury Counter on "Nordriss" monsters you control for each monster your opponent controls. You can banish this card and target 1 "Nordriss" monster you control; that target cannot be destroyed by card effects, until the end of the next turn. You can only use each efect of "Nordriss Fury" once per turn. If you control a "Nordriss" monster: Target 1 face up monster your opponent controls; negate the effects of that target, and if you do, it loses 500 ATK. If you control a "Nordriss" Fusion monster, you can target 2 monsters your opponent controls instead. You can only activate 1 "Nordriss Aurora" per turn. All "Nordriss" monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF. You can only use each of the following effects of "Nordriss Glacial Kingdom" once per turn. ● You can Special Summon 1 "Nordriss" monster from your hand. ● If a "Nordriss" monster you control destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Nordriss" monster from your Deck, but return that monster to the hand at the end of the turn. ● If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Nordriss" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand, except "Nordriss Glacial Kingdom". Fusion Summon 1 "Nordriss" Fusion monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters listed on its Fusion Material list as materials, from your hand, field, and/or Graveyard. You can send the necessary materials from your hand or field to the Graveyard, or banish them from your Graveyard. If this card is in your Graveyard and a monster on the field is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can add this card from your Graveyard to your hand. You can only use this efect of "Nordriss Ice Fusion" once per turn. When a card or effect is activated that targets a "Nordriss" monster on the field or when an attack is declared involving a "Nordriss" monster: place 1 Fury Counter on that "Nordriss" monster, and if you do, negate that activated effect or negate that attack. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can remove 1 Fury Counter from a "Nordriss" monster you control; Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Nordriss Shield" once per turn. You can target up to 2 "Nordriss" monsters in your Graveyard: Special Summon those targets, and if you do, place 1 Fury Counter on each monster Special Summoned this way. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard and target up to 2 "Nordriss" cards in your Graveyard; return those targets to the Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card for each Fusion monster returned to the Extra Deck this way. You can only use each effect of "Nordriss Return" once per turn. Target any number of cards your opponent controls, up to the number of "Nordriss" monsters with 1 or more Fury Counters you control; destroy those targets. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can remove 1 Fury Counter from a "Nordriss" monster you control; Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of "Nordriss Ambush" once per turn. All "Nordriss" monsters you control gain 200 ATK/DEF for each Fury Counter on them. The activated effects of "Nordriss" Fusion monsters become quick effects. Once per turn, you can place 1 Fury Counter on 1 "Nordriss" monster you control. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Nordriss" monster from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Nordriss Figure" once per turn. When your opponent activates a card or effect: You can remove 1 Fury Counter from a "Nordriss" Fusion monster you control; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card. You can remove 1 Fury Counter from a "Nordriss" monster you control; Set this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. Any card that mentions "Nordic" would by default be able to search/equip to/etc. one of your "Nordice" monsters, since they both have "Nordic" in their name. The "e" at the end means your Nordice cards can't search Nordics, but Nordics can search Nordices. Not a huge deal since Nordics more or less suck everywhere except in Master Duel for about a month, but it's something to keep in mind when choosing an archetype name. I agree that it would be better for the cards to not be related to existing archetypes. I'm going to change their names and try to improve the structure of the text. Thanks again for your help. They could probably be posted under "realistic cards" if the effects weren't so long, and even then it's not unreasonable.
