Dramatic Crossroad
I wanted to make a weird gimmick card to protect players from One-Turn-Kills (this is where the name of the card comes from). Wanton Keel (FIRE) [Psychic / Tuner / Effect ] Level 3 / ATK 1450 / DEF 300 (Quick Effect): Discard this card and pay half of your LP; Monsters on the field gain 0 ATK, your LP are increased by half of your opponent's LP, then if your opponent's LP are lower than your LP, your opponent's LP are increased by half of your LP (This does not count as gaining LP for other cards and effects). You can only use the effect of "Wanton Keel" once per duel. This is a last-resort card that can be used in the damage step (this is why I added the useless ATK boost clause). It probably will not be useful against slow burn strategies, but a big hit from OTK/FTKs might be avoided,... for a turn. Jordan Ashwood
I love the damage-step design here; this is such a cool card! I can think of many formats where this would have been crucial. In the current meta, I can't help but wonder how it would compete with other battle hand-traps, though the anti-burn utility is excellent. Good card!
