CardSharpDoppel
Hey everyone! Here is a new archetype that popped into my mind recently that I thought would be interesting in the game. It was inspired by the Bystial archetype, but instead of banishing lights and darks from the GY, it focuses on using your monsters and your opponent's monsters to fusion summon. The field spell changes monsters on the field and GY to light or dark and can fusion summon once per turn. To make this deck more balanced and original, the main deck monsters are all normal monsters. Please tell me what you think about it! Main Deck Monsters (2) Esmond The Chevalier in Twilight Level 4 / LIGHT / Warrior / Normal ATK/DEF: 1600 / 1400 Flavor Text: A brave knight who foolishly pursued a runaway thief into a endless forest, destined to never return. Hilda The Outlaw in Twilight Level 4 / LIGHT / Warrior / Normal ATK/DEF: 1600 / 1400 Flavor Text: A renegade thief pursued by her own countrymen who foolishly wandered into an endless forest, destined to never return. Extra Deck Monsters (2) Esmond, Pursuer in Twilight Level 7 / DARK / Warrior / Fusion / Effect ATK/DEF: 2700 / 2500 Effect: 2+ LIGHT or DARK monsters If a Normal Monster was used as a material for this fusion summoned card, add 1 "Twilight" monster from your GY or banished zone to your hand. This card gains 500 ATK for each DARK monster used as a material for this fusion summoned card. Your opponent's monsters lose 500 ATK for each LIGHT monster used as a material for this fusion summoned card. Hilda, Lady in Twilight Level 7 / LIGHT / Warrior / Fusion / Effect ATK/DEF: 2400 / 3000 Effect: 2 LIGHT or DARK monsters This card gains the following effects based on the type of monster(s) used as materials for this card's fusion summon: ● LIGHT monster: "Twilight" monsters you control are unaffected by the effects of your opponent's DARK monsters. ● DARK monster: "Twilight" monsters you control are unaffected by the effects of your opponent's LIGHT monsters. ● Normal monster: Once per turn, you can set/activate 1 "Twilight" Spell/Trap card from your deck, GY or banished zone. Spells (3) Twilight Forrest Spell / Field Effect: When this card is activated, you can add 1 "Twilight" monster from your deck to your hand. You can activate each effect of "Twilight Forrest" once per turn: ● You can declare the attribute LIGHT or DARK. All monsters on your opponent's side of field and GY become that attribute. ● You can declare the attribute LIGHT or DARK, all monsters on your side of the field and GY become that attribute. ● You can fusion summon 1 "Twilight" fusion monster from your extra deck, using monsters from your hand, the field or by banishing from the GY as materials (You can only use 1 monster from your opponent's field or GY). Twilight Mirror Spell / Normal Effect: If there is 1 Normal monster on the field, Special Summon 1 Normal monster from your deck with the same level and a different original attribute to your side of the field. You can banish this card from your GY to add 1 "Twilight" card from your GY or banished zone to your hand except "Twilight Mirror". You can only use each effect of "Twilight Mirror" once per turn. Twilightning Spell / Quick-Play Effect: Send 1 normal LIGHT or normal DARK monster from your hand or deck to the GY. Negate the effect(s) and half the ATK/DEF of all monsters on the field with the attribute of the monster sent to the GY by this card's effect. You can banish this card from your GY to add 1 "Twilight" monster from your deck to the hand. You can only activate each effect of "Twilightning" once per turn. Trap (1) Twilight Fusion Trap / Normal Effect: You can fusion summon 1 "Twilight" fusion monster from your extra deck, using monsters from your hand, your deck, the field or by banishing monsters from the GY as materials (You can only use 1 monster from your opponent's field or GY). You can banish this card from your GY to add 1 "Twilight" Spell/Trap card from your deck to the hand except "Twilight Fusion". You can only activate each effect of "Twilight Fusion" once per turn.
