Rongaulius
Back in 2022, I had the bright idea to reimagine a bunch of old vanilla monsters as their own brand-new archetype: the Celtic deck. Made about ten cards in the first run. This was one of those cards I drew back then, although this isn't the original artwork. This card was a retrain of Wingweaver. This is actually an updated version of the first artwork I did for the card; the first version looked good, but I've learned a thing or two since then and this iteration looks much more polished than the initial version. Anyway, the archetype is designed to function around retrained Normal monsters and original Equip Spells. I'll add more of the other cards as I have time. Celtic Goddess Etain Fairy/Fusion/Effect, 10*, LIGHT, ATK 2000, DEF 3000. "2+ "Celtic" monsters with different names Must first be Special Summoned by shuffling Fusion Materials from your GY into the Deck, while you control 2+ "Celtic" monsters. Cards and effects cannot be activated when this card is Summoned. While you control only "Celtic" monsters, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during your turn. If this card leaves the field from an opponent's card: Banish all cards in your opponent's GY. You can Tribute 1 "Celtic" monster you control; Banish 1 card your opponent controls, face-down. You can only use this effect of "Celtic Goddess Etain" once per turn." Etain is part of the deck's core protection mechanic, allowing you to play virtually uninterrupted once you bring her out as long as you control only Celtics. That effect MAY still be too strong, so I may have to nerf it at some point. I made sure to design the rest of the archetype to not be particularly oppressive, so you're not going to be just shutting down your opponent's plays. But still, locking your opponent out during your turn may be too much. Beyond that, she allows you to non-target banish an opponent's card, face-down. And if she leaves the field from an opponent's card, you just banish everything in your opponent's GY. Meaning your opponent will want to out her as soon as possible so they don't lose too many GY resources.
Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan
This card is cool and I like the effects alot nice job :) Celtics may not be viable but this card helps them out alot and only needs 2 monsters to bring it out and it can use materials from the GY. Thanks! Yeah, Celtics as their own strategy aren't viable in the TCG, but I did draw a couple cards to help them actually work as their own archetype. Casworon, the Celtic Berserker Warrior/Effect, 4*, EARTH, ATK 1700, DEF 1150 "(Quick Effect:) You can discard 1 other "Celtic" monster; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, this card gains ATK equal to that discarded monster's original ATK, until the end of this turn, also it cannot be destroyed by card effects this turn. You can only use this effect of "Casworon, the Celtic Berserker" once per turn. If this card is Special Summoned during the Battle Phase, it can make a second and third attack each Battle Phase this turn." Retrain of Axe Warrior as a Celtic effect monster. Extender/battle trap/beatstick. Does quite a bit, as if you SS him during the Battle Phase he could potentially get absolutely huge and be able to attack three times. But, no protection means he's very fragile and by no means a win-con on his own.
Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan
That card seems like a good beater but watchout for Impremm or other card effects.
Rongaulius
Kanan, the Celtic Swordmistress Warrior/Effect, 4*, EARTH, ATK 1400, DEF 1400 "If you control a "Celtic" monster(s), you can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only Summon "Kanan, the Celtic Swordmistress" once per turn this way. If this card is Summoned: You can equip 1 "Celtic" Equip Spell from your hand or Deck to 1 "Celtic" monster you control. You can only use this effect of "Kanan, the Celtic Swordmistress" once per turn. This card can attack a number of times each Battle Phase, up to the number of "Celtic" Equip Spells you control with different names +1." Dual-purpose starter and extender, as well as (potential) beater. This one really didn't need a whole lot of adjustment on the art to get it to a point I'm happy with; mainly just accentuated the eyes and added a few highlights.
