CrabHelmet
http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/community/forums/thread/1183655.aspx Konami extends an official "Screw You!" to Zombie Master. Discuss.
Dryad
Drat, that probably sucks seeing as how now you can't just use it as a monster discard outlet.

hotfoilcard
http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/community/forums/thread/1183655.aspx Konami extends an official "Screw You!" to Zombie Master. Discuss. does this set a precedent for how grandmaster and cunning work? GM to the grave to get GM nisashi to the grave to get nisahsi for 2800 more? i really dont see how its any different edit: and oh what about dragon ice...IMO unless UDE makes similar rulings for the three cards i mentioned...its really inconsistent
CrabHelmet
Grandmaster and Cunning already have rulings, and Dragon Ice is obvious enough. Also, Grandmaster and Dragon Ice aren't even similar to this.
hotfoilcard
the concept of sending something to the grave and retrieving it in one stroke is what all of the cards i mentioned have in common with zombie master
CrabHelmet
Except that they have nothing to do with this particular ruling - whether the effect can be used if no applicable card exists in the grave.
pizzaman
lol Zombie Master had this ruling in the OCG since it came out in TAEV.I guess this is one major case of ruling disagreements, huh? Man, I gotta take notes of these when playing at an international scale...
Firestarter7200
Wow, just wow. The ONE thing that really made zombies semi-playable in the meta just got absolutely nerfed. My friend who plays zombies is gonna have a good laugh about this...... then quit Yugioh.
RedSceptile
This doesn't kill Zombie Master completely, quit overexaggerating. It is gay nonetheless.
iAmNateXero
i swear this ruling has been post inside of UDE's Judge forum for a while. Its common sense, did they just post it on the main site or whats going on? I also remember a very old topic talked about this and how Il blud was different than Zombie master in turms of rulings and we also discussed this very same ruling, in my eyes it never changed. Exiro
the guy goes on in that link to indicate that hysteric party will also be affected and ive talked to sammy players who claim that cunning will be affected as well The point is that some of the cards you have to discard for Zombie Master's effect would be illegal, and others would be illegal. The fact that the cost can make the move illegal, that's the point of it.Cunning has no cost at all. But yeah, this is a major bleh. Especially for Lumina. Making a first turn Lumina-CoSR combo summoning a Garoth illegal, that matters a lot.

Special Summon 1 "Six Samurai" monster from either player's Graveyard. kind of looks like a cost to me...its not a monster reborn for sammies...this is easily the type of mechanic that could get lumped in with rulings like this... i will admit cunning is worded in a way that seems to allow you to do one before the other unlike GM and zombie master

Sander
This is actually a good thing, with Zombie World (when the Structure Deck comes out in TCG anyways) on the field, you could dis Disk Commander and SS him again, instant +2 or +3 while Card of Safe Return is on the field... It's still the key card in Zombie Decks, and it is still very good at swarming. And what do you mean, "OCG only". They have this ruling, too.
