When this card Normal Summoned, you can add 1 Level 4 or lower Dragon-type monster OR 1 "Polymerization" from your Deck to your Hand. Fusion Monsters that used this card as Fusion Material gains this effect.
This card gains 1000 ATK during Battle Phase only, also, if this card attack your opponent cannot activate card effect.

 

Baby Dragon [WIND]

During the Damage Step, when a Fusion monster you control battle (Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY; that monster gain 800 ATK until the end of this turn. Fusion Monsters that used this card as Fusion Material gains this effect.
This card cannot be Targeted by your opponent card effect, also once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effect.

I like this pair. Dunno if the protection effects could be a problem when paired on a big bad Fusion monster, but I like their concepts anyway.

If anything, wish you had made Alligator's Sword an actual Reptile Type instead of Beast, but it should get nice support as a Beast monster. Also Baby Dragon could boost by 1200 ATK, same as its original ATK, like some ATK-boost hand traps do such as Aleister and Kalut. I do not think the extra 400 ATK it is currently missing would be a problem.
